Hollywood's most desired actor is currently in Detroit working on The Ides of March - based on the hit play Farragut North - but took the time to talk to Morning Joe on MSNBC this a.m. about Sudan:

"It's actually been a brighter spot in the history of Sudan. They had their first election. They voted for independence since 1956. They stood in line. It looks like overwhelmingly they're going to get their independence. It's going to be a long, hard slog to actually work it through and make it a successful country, but it's a real shot."

In other Clooney news, the actor finished work on Alexander Payne's The Descendants... but who should he work with after finished Ides of March?

Mila Kunis! The Black Swan starlet recently said her perfect male co-star would be "maybe Brad Pitt or George Clooney."

Lindsay Lohan's rumored beau, Tom Hardy, has been cast as the muscular and villainous character Bane in the upcoming Batman flick, The Dark Knight Rises.

Director Christopher Nolan, who also announced Anne Hathaway will be part of the cast, said the following about adding Hardy to the movie:

“I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

A source close to Lindsay previously told X17online exclusively, Lindsay's "heart is with Tom Hardy."

Our source added:

"Lindsay loves how Tom has been sober for years, and she wants to make sure she follows in that path. He's a good looking guy with a great career who has overcome some major obstacles. They're perfect together. Lindsay hopes it will turn into a serious relationship. She's really into him."

Too bad Lilo wasn't added to The Dark Knight Rises cast. Linds would have made an epic Catwoman!

He must've been watching a lot of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford while his GF was preg!

Owen Wilson and his baby-momma Jade Duell have just revealed the name of their newborn son: Robert Ford Wilson.

The pair were reportedly set on naming the little guy Ford Linton Wilson, but switched it up to the name of the famous American outlaw who killed Jesse James in 1882.

The Little Fockers star and his family are currently in Hawaii where they will most-likely raise little Robert Ford.

Let's just hope the tyke doesn't grow up to be an outlaw!

Reality TV starlet Khloe Kardashian Tweeted the above message earlier this morning, alleging that she's "signing off twitter" due to all the "negativity."

Hmmm, we're not so sure how we feel about this one.

We love Anne Hathaway, but does she have the sex appeal to carry a character like Catwoman?

It's been confirmed the Love And Other Drugs star will take on the role of Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) in Chris Nolan's final Batman film; The Dark Night Rises. But dose she have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Eartha Kitt?

Nolan reveals:

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”

The Oscar co-host will join Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), and Michael Caine (Alfred) in what looks to be one heck of a finale for the series.

We're anxious to see Hathaway don the black leather cat suit, but we must admit, Michelle Pfeiffer will always be our favorite cat!

Kelly Preston is a proud mom at the age of 48!

John Travolta's wife sits down with Today's Natalie Morales to discuss her baby boy Benjamin, the tragic loss of her son Jett and the reasoning behind a Scientologist's silent birth.

Preston is currently starring opposite Kevin Spacey in the movie Casino Jack. As for how Spacey helped her through the loss of her son, Preston reveals:

"(Spacey) was a lifesaver, really. I mean, at that point, I really didn't want to go back to work. But each day, and they condensed my work down to a couple of weeks, which was really nice. But every day, he's so ... he's so naturally funny. And he made me laugh. And that was the greatest -- the greatest gift he could've given to me while we were working."

Sounds like she's in a great place!

A cheerful Jessica Alba was spotted at Bel Bambini in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the 29-year-old actress left with several shopping bags from the upscale children's clothing boutique. Jessica's daughter Honor Marie Warren doesn't have a birthday coming up, so it looks like she's simply lucky enough to have a mom who enjoys spoiling her rotten!

Justin Timberlake may be in a relationship with Jessica Biel, but the SexyBack singer reportedly can't get Olivia Munn out of his head.

JT, 29, is so into Ms. Munn, 30, that he's been texting her several not-so-innocent messages as recently as December, according to Life & Style.

As for what the messages said, an insider tells L&S:

“One said, ‘My relationship is basically over.’ The other said, ‘I’m thinking about you.’ There was part of a third that said something like, ‘You don’t understand how hard it is.’ I didn’t see that entire text, so I’m not sure how that sentence ended.”

The insider adds that Olivia is "super flattered" by the attention, but "she's not expecting it to go anywhere, but she'd love it if it did!"
