Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried were snapped at Fred Segal yesterday afternoon, and after shopping and hanging out, Ryan dropped his honey off at a friend's house. Aww, glad to see these two are still going strong!

But when an X17 photographer jokingly asked if the couple had a wedding planned any time soon, Amanda responded, "Are you f*cking crazy?" I guess that settles that!

Ricky Gervais is breaking his silence on the speculation that his humor so offended the celebrities and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that he was fired half way through the show. On his blog, he writes:

"Obviously the rumour that the organizers stopped me going out on stage for an hour is rubbish. I did every link I was scheduled to do. The reason why the gaps were uneven is because when I got the rundown I was allowed to choose who I presented to. I obviously chose the spots that I had the best gags for."

Additionally, Gervais says in a statement that "Everyone took it well and the atmosphere backstage and at the after show was great."

Of course, celebs like Robert Downey, Jr. did quip that the show was "hugely mean-spirited with mildly sinister undertones," and Hugh Hefner responded to Ricky's jabs by tweeting "It's ironic that living with 3 young girls prompted a hit TV show, but marrying one prompts humor. Age is still just a number."

But Ricky insists the controversy has been blown out of proportion.

"Why do people have to embellish? They're allowed to say they hated it. They're allowed to say they didn't find it funny, that it was tasteless, over the top, or whatever. But why do they speculate and make stuff up? Don't worry, I know the answer. Because it's more interesting than 'it went fine and some people won some awards and then went to a party'. But that's all that happened."

But just in case you don't believe Hollywood can laugh at itself, Gervais offers up this alternative:

"Actually, I see what they mean. Boring. So here's what really happened. Bruce Willis and Sly Stallone started a fight with me but Alec Baldwin and Mark Walberg stepped in and helped me out. That's what happened."

Gervais may have drawn criticism for his performance, but he's also finding some support, from fellow comedian Howie Mandel. When asked about the Sunday night performance, Mandel responded, "He's a comedian, what do you want?!?! ... He's a funny guy."





And 61% of you agree with Howie in X17online's poll, that he could have gone even further with his humor.

So let's hope the HFPA has as much of a sense of humor as the majority of us and he gets asked back next year!

Katy Perry has no problem exuding sex during a performance, but anything relating to religion is off limits!

The California Gurl is taking aim at Madonna who has not shied away from controversial stage antics including mounting herself on a cross during her 2008 Confessions tour.

Perry, 25, tells The Sun:

"For me, spirituality is something very important and I don't like it when people take it lightly. At times, I don't understand why there are artists who play that card, like when Madonna gets up on a cross to sing."

The voluptuous singer also recently tweeted, "Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke."

Husband Russell Brand better watch his back, too. Katy is also holding him accountable for his actions, telling the site:

"Russell has made very blasphemous jokes in the past, but he's making fewer all the time because he knows that I am very sensitive about this subject."

When Madonna gets wind of Katy's diss, we're expecting fireworks.

Jennifer Aniston covers the February issue of Allure, and the 41-year-old actress shows off her incredible bod and chats about everything from how much she hated her Rachel hairstyle to why she doesn't understand the concept of The Bachelor. On the more positive note, she reveals she makes killer Bloody Marys and she's an excellent party planner!

On the hairstyle that made her famous:

I love Chris [McMillan, her hairstylist], and he’s the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen. What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs? Let’s just say I’m not a fan of short, layered cuts on me personally, so I don’t love revisiting that particular era.”

Yikes! Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! So what does she think about television these days?

“You know what I find fascinating? The Bachelor. I was mesmerized by how these girls, they meet this guy, they have three dates together or something, and they’re weeping as though they’ve just lost the love of their life. I don’t understand that.”

Regis Philbin announced that he will be retiring on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning, adding that he will tape his final show towards the end of the summer.

After 28 years on the air, Regis joked, "There is a time that everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people." Aww, we're certainly going to miss him!

Then again, retirement doesn't sound so bad either...

Sir Elton John and David Furnish have shared the first photos of their newborn son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John with the latest issue of Us Weekly, and we have to say, he's quite the cutie!

Zachary was born on Christmas day, and less than two weeks before his arrival the couple sat down and chatted about fatherhood. "I've never felt anything like it in my life," Elton tells the mag. "You're so awestruck. What can you say? You take it in. The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing...I will never forget that experience ever."

Furnish added, "He's a content little guy...He just loves to be nurtured, cuddled, and sung to." Congrats guys!

New American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez sits down for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow and the superstar dished on, what else, what a diva Ryan Seacrest is!

"He definitely has so many more shoes than me. I mean, I'm telling you. It's crazy. We always have jokes like that because from the very beginning, as soon as everybody knew I was doing the show, it was like we didn't get along. You know, Ryan is my friend. He's a friend of mine and Marc's for like years now. And so it was funny they picked the two of us but it's fine. We just laugh about it. Everybody knows he has a bigger entourage than I do. It's no secret in the business."

Ellen also asked J.Lo about the possibility of having more kids. "As soon as I had the babies, I thought to myself, 'I want to do this a thousand more times.' I love this. This is life," said Lopez.

Wow, really? That's a lot! Think J.Lo's family will continue to grow?

Well, not technically! Happy parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren took their baby daughter Honor to a party in Santa Monica on Monday and, of course, Honor looked as adorable as ever. (Jess didn't look too bad herself!)

Only now it seems young Honor is going beige just like mom... we miss her in the brighter colors, but she's still super-cute!
