Just days after John Mellencamp and her supermodel wife Elaine announced their plans to divorce after 20 years of marriage, the singer is taking his NEW relationship with Meg Ryan public!

We've spotted the new couple out and about in New York City every day for the past few days holding hands, shopping, enjoying their new-found love.

But the question is ... will Meg be criticized for stealing away another woman's man (as we know, it's usually "other woman" in these situations who's villanized, not the man who's clearly acting with free will)? Is she the next LeAnn Rimes?

New photos have surfaced of Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds getting cozy in Texas taken this past September ... during the time the 34-year-old Green Lantern star was married to Scarlett Johansson.

Bullock, 46, and Reynolds have denied reports of a relationship, however the two A-listers have been hanging out together for quite awhile now on the down low. During their trip to Austin last September, Sandra took Ryan and baby Louis to visit her sister Gesine Bullock-Prado who owns the downtown bakery Walton's Fancy and Staple.

This past December, Scarlett Johansson pulled the plug on her two year marriage to Reynolds. Makes you wonder if ScarJo was aware of her then-husband's rendezvous with America's sweetheart.

Online reports surfaced earlier this week that Sandy and Ryan spent New Year's Eve together and that the two are Hollywood's hot new couple. Sucks for Scarlett, but something tells us she'll find a new hottie in no time.

A rep for Bullock says she and Reynolds are "nothing except good friends."

Snooki is turning into quite the little mega-mogul!

After releasing her first book this week, A Shore Thing (wonder how she came up with that title), Snooks is on to bigger and better things. Little did she know a reality series focused on her binge drinking, bar fighting and "smooshing" would turn into such a lucrative business opportunity!

The Jersey Shore star recently hired a New York firm to manage a soon-to-be abundance of licensed Snooki goods that will bear her name, as well as her Jersey fashion sense, The Post reports.

Stephen Goodman of SRG Ventures says these licensed products will include:

"Fuzzy slippers, blingy jewelry, and giant sunglasses, for starters."

Umm. We're not so sure about that one. Remember what happened when Jenni "JWoww" Farley launched her "Filthy Couture" fashion line? That didn't turn out so well. While we like to WATCH the stylings of the Jersey Shore cast, we're not so sure we want to buy any of the items these guys have on.

But we do give props to Snooks. She's taking full advantage of that fifteen minutes of fame!

In a recent interview for the Rachel Ray Show the County Strong star reveals kissing Tom Cruise during her cameo in Austin Powers 3 was definitely NOT the hardest of jobs. Paltrow tells Ray:

"I did a little cameo once at the beginning of Austin Powers 3, I think it was, and I got to make out with Tom Cruise. He was an amazing kisser!"

Is this the reason Katie Holmes usually looks so glum? She probably doesn't get to kiss hubby Cruise nearly enough, considering their busy schedules.

Of all the men Paltrow has smooched in her life, knowing that she kissed Brad Pitt on a regular basis makes us super jealous, indeed!

Howard K. Stern is a free man!

Stern was expected to be formally sentenced in court Thursday involving the drug conspiracy trial surrounding Anna Nicole Smith's untimely death, but Judge Robert Perry threw out the jury's verdict ... ruling it baseless.

The Playboy cover girl's former manager/companion was found guilty of 2 counts of conspiracy, but not guilty on 7 other charges.

The judge also ruled psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich was actually acting out of concern for Smith, and sentenced her to just one year of probation and a mere $100 fine for obtaining a Vicodin prescription under a false name.

Anna Nicole Smith died back in 2007 of a drug overdose.
