British super-couple David and Victoria Beckham left the boys at home today and went out for lunch together at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills. Nothing like some de-lish Japanese food for Hollywood's favorite imports!

Victoria recently dished to Vogue UK that her hubby isn't always looking so perfect: "The other morning I looked across at David just after he'd woken up and thought you look really crap." Hmm, he doesn't look too bad to us! Maybe that's just their cute couple humor...

Meanwhile, son Romeo Beckham was just named one of Britain's best-dressed men and he's only eight years old. Guess mom and dad are doing something right!

If so, congrats to the "Teenage Dream" singer!

Katy Perry just arrived in Los Angeles this afternoon to attend the People's Choice Awards tonight and we couldn't help but notice that Katy might be hiding something underneath that puffy winter coat... a baby bump perhaps? Could the 26-year-old already be preggers?

Perry - whose hit song "California Gurls" is 2010's top selling track with 4.4 million downloads, reports Rolling Stone - married British comedian Russell Brand on October 23, 2010 in India. And in a July 2010 YouTube interview, Perry said Brand would be a "perfect" father. And we agree!

But is she really pregnant or is she just overly bundled up for the brisk LA weather?

There's been so much online discussion about Britney Spears' pink knit headband - the singer wore it in Calabasas yesterday while going to the movies - that we had to add in our two cents... doesn't anyone think it's kinda cute? If Lady Gaga wore it, no one would question her! Maybe Britney's trying to make a fashion statement of her own?

By the way, we're still waiting on an official announcement for the exact release date of Brit's new single "Hold It Against Me." When in January can we finally hear it???

And there's still two more weeks of testimony and information ahead of us!

Members of the Jackson family were all present again for day two of the Conrad Murray hearing in downtown Los Angeles. The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to send the case to trial.

The most unsettling fact brought to light during today's proceedings was that Murray, a cardiologist, was both unable to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and claimed to have never performed CPR in his entire life.

Our X17 reporter inside the courtroom says that this made Michael Jackson's mother Katherine extremely upset. Our insider reports the following:

"Katherine was so frustrated during the proceedings -- it was as if she wanted to yell out that Dr. Murray is a fake. The look on her face and her whispers and rumbles to her attorneys were evidence that she doesn't believe this guy -- not for a second."

Two other unsettling points were also made:

* A pulse was NEVER detected on Michael Jackson from the moment the EMTs arrived at Jackson's house... yet Dr. Murray refused to declare Jackson dead to 911 or to the EMTs, alleging he still felt a pulse.


** Dr. Murray made a number of personal calls on his cell phone during the drive to the UCLA Medical Center.

After the hearing, Geraldine Hughes - author of Redemption: The Truth Behind The Michael Jackson Child Molestation Allegations - spoke to the press about her own impression of sitting in on the day's proceedings.

Hughes says: "We're outraged because this is a charge of involuntary manslaughter to a doctor who ... withheld information. We need a federal investigation why this case was so grossly undercharged. And they're trying to make it seem like it's on Michael but this is not on Michael, it was about a doctor who was hired and who didn't even know proper CPR. We need a federal investigation. This doctor has not told the truth yet. He's been lying since day one."

Day three begins tomorrow.

And they all look happy and tan! Charlie Sheen's ex spent the holidays in Maui with her gorgeous young daughters Sam and Lola but now the trio is back home in LA.

Denise Richards Tweeted this morning: "Good morning!! Let my girls sleep in since we got in so late for them..off to school. A few meetings for me!"

Glee star Lea Michele is sticking up for her four-legged friends that are forced into pulling carriages in major cities across the United States.

Michele, who is joining PETA in the fight against cruelty to animals, tells the animal rights organization:

"Imagine for a moment that you're forced to do hard physical labor all day, seven days a week—whether it's sweltering hot or freezing cold outside. At the end of the day, instead of relaxing on [an] easy chair or sleeping in a comfortable bed, you are locked in a tiny closet all night long."

According to PETA, these horses "are forced into dangerous traffic, where they develop respiratory ailments from inhaling exhaust fumes and debilitating leg problems from pounding the hard pavement."
