Waits and Paris have been together through thick and thin, through home intruders, through family dinners, through international travel, through shopping, through couples gym sessions -- what more could life throw at them?

Sources tell us things are going VERY well between Cy and Paris' family so if Mr. Hilton gives this relationship a thumbs up, will Waits pop the question? Could we have a Mr. and Mrs. Waits for the new year?

Today Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale took their darling sons to the Sherman Oaks Galleria to meet Santa Claus, and Kingston was stoked about it, but poor Zuma seems to have a phobia of bearded men in red suits!

Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson announced their split weeks ago, but today the hunky actor filed divorce papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

In the court papers, neither of them are asking for spousal support.

"The big problem with their relationship is the distance. They spent a lot of time apart when they are working ... she's been unhappy for a while," a source told UsWeekly.

The couple released a joint statement saying, "We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it."

Reynolds, 34, and Johansson, 26, who were engaged for only five months, got married in Canada back in 2008.
