Audio that Star magazine claims is Britney Spears having a conversation with her ex-husband and childhood friend Jason Alexander, telling him her current beau Jason Trawick "beat on me," is not real, says Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph.

Rudolph tells Access Hollywood, "Lawyers are amassing. We are 100 percent taking stern and immediate legal action.”

In the recording, the voice of the person Radar claims is Alexander, asks the woman, reportedly Spears, about her engagement. The woman says, "Before or after he beat on me?" She goes on to say, "My dad does not want him around me right now. My dad has a shotgun and he's just waiting to use it."

Star Magazine's recent cover story, with a large photo of Britney, says, "Jason Beat Me Up."

Calls to Jason Trawick's office have not been returned.

Nearly 26,000 of the available 100,000 tickets for Justin Bieber's Never Say Never film have been purchased for the February 9 sneak preview, Paramount Pictures announced.

Bieber's manager Scooter Braun recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the teen pop phenom's career is just getting started. "Like a Michael, an Elvis, an Usher, a Timberlake, Justin has a tremendous amount of talent," he said. Nicole Richie and her attorney were escorted into the LA Superior Courthouse this morning for a closed-door hearing to discuss a restraining order against photographer Fabricio Mariotto.

Richie claims Mariotto got too close to her 2-year-old daughter Harlow while trying to photograph her little girl at her preschool.

Richie is seeking a permanent restraining order against the photographer - who, despite Ms. Richie's restraining order request stating otherwise, does NOT work for X17 and did not work for us at the time of the incident early last month. Richie's attorney refused to issue a statement that her client's publicly-filed document was in error.

Judge Rico continued the case to December 21, and until then, we're told the order still remain in full force and effect.

Britney Spears' former husband Jason Alexander claims the pop star told him she was beaten up by her boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick, and now a phone recording has hit the web!

Alexander spilled the details to the latest issue of Star Magazine, and Radar has obtained what they claim to be a phone conversation between Spears and Alexander. Spears denies being engaged to Trawick and plainly states that he became violent with her, and she also told Alexander that the beating was so bad she couldn't leave the house for a week.

Alexander asks if Trawick proposed to her on the beach, to which Spears responds, "Before or after he beat on me?" After revealing that Jason still works for her (but only "on the down low") Britney adds, "My dad has a shotgun and he's just waiting to use it."

It's not clear whether this is actually Britney or another southern belle with marital problems, but something is definitely fishy here! Reps for Trawick and Spears haven't yet commented on the matter, but we'll bring you the latest updates as soon as we hear them...
