Mother Palin caught a fish and beat it with a club - and later, daughter Bristol holds its still-beating heart in her hand.

A spokesperson for the animal rights group claims this "snuff video is disgusting," adding that "when they laugh about the beating heart that Bristol holds in her hand, their complete insensitivity to the animal kingdom becomes clear."

But halibut clubbing is apparently not that uncommon among fishermen; Sarah even explained on her show that "it's the safest and most humane way to harvest these massive fish."

Nevertheless, Alaska has dropped about 40% in viewership (down to 3 million viewers) since it began. Whoops!

Lady Gaga has conquered the music charts, and now the eccentric performer is ready to get her hands dirty in an Italian kitchen

Gaga has invested her hard-earned cash in Upper West Side Italian restaurant, Vince & Eddie's, according to the NY Post.

The owner recalls how the partnership with the pop star went down. Peter Dee says, "They were customers, and they approached us. We have done some promotions with her in the past."

In addition to Gaga's involvement, her parents have also joined in the venture.

Vince & Eddie's, described as "homey and private," opened back in 1989.

Don't tell Michael Lohan that his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, was fired from Inferno because he firmly believes Lindsay "left" the project.

Lohan says that the film's producer, Walid Razaqi, is the "biggest hypocrite on the planet" for claiming he cares about Lilo, yet wanted her to portray a drug addicted porn star in the film.

Jessica Simpson wants the world to know that her engagement to fiance Eric Johnson was not a fly-by-night operation. The singer tells Jimmy Fallon, Eric kept her $150,000 ring "hidden in a shoe at my house."

As for the process of getting her 5-carat ruby ring with 3-carat diamonds, Jessica, 30, reveals it was in the works for three weeks. She adds:

"He had talked to my dad, he had talked to my mom, he even talked to my sister. Everybody knew but me!"

Simpson recalls the mood of the November 11th proposal. "It was romantic that he actually asked me at my house, because that's my little safe haven," says Jessica.

The couple, who have been together for only 5 1/2 months, will be doing something different for Thanksgiving dinner considering Johnson is a fan of vegan-style cuisine.

Jessica tells the Jimmy Fallon Show audience, "For Thanksgiving we have to make a Tofurkey! It doesn't sound right! It's gonna be jiggly and weird."
