X17online has learned exclusively that Demi Lovato is currently in treatment at Timberline Knolls in Chicago, Illinois ... one of the leading residential treatment centers in the U.S. helping women with eating disorders, drug addiction, mood disorders and trauma.

As for why Demi chose this facility, a source tells X17online:

"She wanted to go to someplace serious -- not some chic Hollywood rehab. Demi's serious about getting better and she just wants to put this chapter of her life behind her and continue working."

According to the Timberline Knolls website, the facility "treats the person, not the symptoms." The site goes on to say, "Our program focuses on treating the entire self: addressing each woman's physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. Our holistic approach to treatment helps women build lifelong recovery, and once again feel hope, health and wholeness."

At the Illinois facility, psychiatrists as well as psychologists, physicians, nurses, registered dieticians, addiction and eating disorder counselors, expressive therapists and a clinical support staff are available to patients 24/7.

Aside from Demi's recent run-in with a backup dancer from the Jonas Bros. tour, the 18-year-old singer has had a history of relationship troubles with her dad. Our source close to the troubled teen adds:

"Demi has issues with her father and hasn't had a relationship with him for a while now. That has obviously affected her emotionally. But she's not another Lindsay. Demi's got her head on straight and she'll get through this."

X17online has also confirmed that Demi's family has been staying at a hotel near Timberline Knolls.

Bret Michaels, who was rumored to be the reason Miley Cyrus parents Tish and Billy Ray recently filed for divorce, flat-out denied that he had an affair with Tish this morning.

When asked if he and Tish had ever become more than just friends, Bret said, “The answer is no." He told Fox & Friends, "It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn,’ the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record." But the relationship never turned romantic.

“When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song, a song I wrote for my album ‘Custom Built,’ and she came over and sang on that and honestly, she did a beautiful job, and that was it," he said. Then they started with all the controversy.”

Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from his wife Tish of 17 years last month. The couple is asking for joint custody of their three minor children.

Madonna is doing her part to combat bullying in America by revealing that she, too, felt "isolated and alienated" as a young girl. The 52-year-old icon appears on today's The Ellen DeGeneres Show via satellite from New York.

The singer, who says the gay community "has been incredibly supportive of me," tells Ellen:

“I can totally relate to the idea of feeling isolated and alienated. I was incredibly lonely as a child, as a teenager. I have to say I never felt like I fit in in school. I wasn’t a jock. I wasn’t an intellectual. There was no group that I felt a part of. I just felt like a weirdo.”

When it comes to her style, Madonna reveals, "I still feel different." As for the issue of bullying, she tells the audience:

“I’m incredibly disturbed and saddened by the overwhelming number of teen suicides that have been reported lately because of bullying. Suicide in general is disturbing. Teenagers committing suicide is extremely disturbing, but to hear that teenagers are taking their lives because they are being bullied in schools and dormitories, what have you, is kind of unfathomable.”

The mother of three also discusses how she's been addressing the issue with her own kids. She says:

“We talk a lot about the importance of not judging people who are different — not judging people who don’t fit into our expected view of what’s cool and what isn’t. The concept that we are torturing teenagers because they are gay — it’s unfathomable. It’s like lynching black people or Hitler exterminating Jews. Sorry if I’m going on a rampage right now, but this is America. The land of the free and the home of the brave….”

Don't mess with Madonna!

Rachel Zoe has yet to confirm her rumored pregnancy, but a source tells X17online that the mom-to-be was seeking advice from pal Nicole Richie over the weekend!

It all went down at the Soho House, where our spy overheard mom-of-two Nicole Richie giving pal Rachel Zoe advice on everything from pregnancy to labor.

The source tells X17online exclusively:

"Rachel was joking with Nicole about her December wedding, saying Nicole should wait to get married until after Rachel has the baby! They laughed, but Rachel got a little worried when Nicole started talking about what it's like to go through labor."

Zoe and husband Rodger Berman, whose desire to have a baby dominated much of the last season of her show, The Rachel Zoe Project, are said to be expecting their little bundle of joy in February. Rumor has it that Rachel is carrying a little baby boy.

Nicole and her former stylist became close when Rachel was dressing the budding fashionista in 2004, but the two soon had a falling out. They reconciled a couple of years ago and now it seems like the girls are the best of friends again!

After a bitter breakup with Joe Jonas (and before she entered a treatment facility for "emotional and physical" issues), Demi Lovato hooked up with Wilmer Valderrama, according to the NY Post.

18-year-old Demi and 30-year-old Wilmer first connected when they filmed a PSA in Chile for earthquake relief in March, and a few months later Demi was introducing Wilmer as her boyfriend. "The two started seeing each other in May right after her breakup with Jonas," a source on the tour said. "She would show us pictures of them together."

Lovato's rep had no comment while Valderrama's rep denied a relationship. Wilmer has dated everyone from Mandy Moore to Lindsay Lohan to Ashlee Simpson over the years, and even though he's not getting any younger, he doesn't exactly seem like he's willing to settle down anytime soon. Is it possible that the heartbreak of not one but two failed relationships was what sent Demi over the edge?
