Despite numerous photos taken of troubled pop-star Demi Lovato over the last few years which shows her with scars indicative of self-mutilation, Demi's father is denying that she has a problem with cutting.

"The cutting thing is full of bologna," Demi's dad Patrick told Us. "Demi would never injure herself."

Demi, who checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility earlier this week for "physical and emotional issues", is rumored to have sought treatment for an eating disorder, cutting, and anger issues (which reportedly caused her to lash out at backup dancer Alex Welch.)

But her dad wouldn't confirm what specific issues caused her to get help, only that she's not into cutting and "She’s not into drugs or alcohol," either.

No matter what problems Demi has taken a time out for, her dad says that the treatment is "progressing."

"I don't know how long it's going to take," he says. "It doesn't matter - as long as it's positive."

Patrick has not spoken to his daughter, whom he says spent 300 out of 365 days on tour last year, since June, but he did have a positive message for her:

"I want her to be happy and do whatever she wants to do. Don’t do what other people want you to do. Do what you want to do. If she wants to sit back and get fat and have a bunch of kids, good for her. If she wants to get out there and be a star, then go for it. Whatever you do, do it 100 percent and try to do the right thing. That’s the most important thing."

After seven months of dating, Cameron Diaz and baseball player Alex Rodriguez have ended their relationship, according to Life & Style.

"Cameron and A-Rod are no longer dating and have definitely parted ways. He just doesn't like her anymore. That's honestly the reason they split," a source tells the mag.

Trouble started brewing back on October 28 when Rodriguez reportedly hit up a nightclub in Las Vegas without Cameron.

“A-Rod got a table at Haze night and a huge group of Romanian models happened to be at the very next table. A-Rod was chatting up a storm with the girls and spent the night hanging out with them," says an eyewitness.

The couple haven't been photographed together since September 22. Just last night, a solo Rodriguez attended the grand opening of the JW Marriot Marquis in Miami.

A rep for Cameron Diaz has not been available for comment.

A very serious looking Lady Gaga was snapped leaving her London hotel early this morning, and we caught the pop diva boarding a private jet out of the UK. Next stop on her tour is Croatia, and she'll be playing at the Zagreb Arena tonight (well, in just a few hours if you factor in the time difference).

Can't wait to see what sort of wacky outfits she'll rock for this leg of her European tour!

We already got a peek Miley Cyrus and Kevin Zegers in the mysterious video for Rock Mafia's "The Big Bang", and now MTV News is reporting that there may be a film in the works!

Rock Mafia's Tim James tells MTV, "They're actually talking about a movie. I'm excited about that too. There's a couple of producers putting together story lines and stuff. That's really exciting."

James also says Miley and Kevin may be a part of the film, and he added, "Kevin and [Miley] both brought their real acting game to it ... The chemistry is not by accident. You can feel it, and it's intense. I'm really proud of both of them."

Owen Wilson and Saturday Night Live's Jason Sudeikis are ready to show husbands around the world the benefits of a Hall Pass.

In the Farelly Brothers-directed comedy, the two married friends get a free pass from their wives, played by Christina Applegate and Jenna Fischer, to enjoy a few single-guy perks. Also in the film ... an appearance by Joy Behar. Random!
