Yesterday Britney Spears and her bodyguard made their daily trip to Starbucks in Calabasas, and Queen B got all dressed up for the occasion. We know she's dropping a new album soon, and there's even rumblings that the conservatorship might go away, so things seem to be looking up for the lovely and talented (and legendary!) Ms. Spears.

Yesterday we photographed Courteney Cox dressed in all black in Beverly Hills, and while semi-estranged hubby David Arquette isn't wearing his ring these days, Courtney was still wearing hers. We still can't believe these two are taking a trial separation, which could end up leading to something more permanent, but maybe they'll work it out and get back together? Either way, we wish them the best...

Courteney Cox and David Arquette's breakup may have come as a shock to some, but with the recent breakup of Cox's best friend Laura Dern and Ben Harper's marriage, we can't help but wonder if that created some sort of domino effect for the couple.

Harper said that he and Dern, who were together for about ten years, but married for only five, have been separated since January. And Courteney and David have also been separated for some time now, they confirmed in a statement.

When couples are as close as the Arquettes and the Harpers, are problems in one marriage are bound to affect the other?

Both couples have been together for over a decade (Courteney and David for about 15 years) and married about five years after dating -- the Arquettes in 1999 and Dern and Harper in 2005.

Their children are similarly close in age. Laura and Ben's eldest, Ellery, is nine, and their daughter Jaya is 5. Coco Arquette is 6.

Over the years, Courteney and David were often seen in the company of Laura and Ben sharing birthday parties together, beach get-togethers in Malibu, and even family vacations. Coco Arquette spent so much time with Laura's two kids Ellery and Jaya, she apparently even developed a crush on Ellery!

But now, it seems the ladies are set to join the divorcees club with another one of their famous pals, Jennifer Aniston.

As close as those three are (along with Sheryl Crow) we bet they'll have plenty of support. And just think of the wild girl's nights out in their futures!

We reported on the rumor already, but now both Courteney Cox and David Arquette confirm their breakup.

The couple just released the following statement, acknowledging a trial separation:

"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go through this process, we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well."

Meanwhile, Life & Style is reporting that David Arquette is already moving on with a new girl: Ryan Seacrest's old flame Jasmine Waltz!

Jasmine, a 28-year-old bartender slash aspiring actress, has not only worked at various Hollywood hot spots (from Les Deux to Bella), she's also dated a number of high profile celebs aside from Seacrest (including Jesse McCartney and Chris Pine). And then this past summer, Lindsay Lohan herself accused Jasmine of punching her in the face at West Hollywood club Voyeur.

Damn, the girl has quite a reputation! But is she also responsible for breaking up David and Courteney's marriage?

Another big issue in this couple's troubled relationship is Arquette's past drug abuse - in 2003, the actor admitted to quitting using heroin, cocaine and speed to be with Court.

He said: "I wanted my mom to know I was safe, even though she had already passed on. I wanted Courteney. I knew that she would never be with me with a drug problem, and I wanted to grow old with her."

Courteney herself gave him an ultimatum: "I knew that I could never be with someone who did drugs. It would not have worked for me. I don't have any tolerance for that because I think it would scare me so bad."

News just broke today of the surprising split between Courteney Cox and her husband of 11 years, David Arquette, but there were tell-tale signs weeks ago.

On October 6th, we spotted David heading into an office in Beverly Hills without his wedding ring, looking very somber.

Apparently, the couple separated some time ago but managed to keep their marital troubles out of the spotlight.

"It's not a secret that they've had their share of problems over the years," a source tells Us. "But they fought hard to make it work. They went to therapy. There's no ill will there, they just grew apart."

The couple has one child together, Coco, 6.

Michael Lohan wants to set the record straight about everything ... from Lindsay's upbringing to Dina's allegations of abuse.

When it comes to claims that Lindsay witnessed Michael's alleged abuse firsthand, Lilo's dad says this never happened ... and his ex-wife Dina is "being a hypocrite, as usual."

To set the record straight, Lohan adds:

"Her entire family are drug addicts. If Dina wants to talk about abuse, she should look at her own family."

Twilight lovers Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dined out at Matsuhisa in Bev Hills Sunday night and, well, this isn't the first time they've gone public with their uber-private relationship.

Last Friday the couple had drinks atop the Thompson Hotel after Stewart shot an episode of Leno; earlier in the week on Tuesday night, Robsten caught a concert together at the Troubador in West Hollywood; and the night before that, the romantic twosome grabbed dinner at Ago.

What's with all the sudden PDA? Not that they were really being affectionate toward each other any of these times, but Rob and Kristen rarely go out together. Not to mention the fact that they've never confirmed their very obvious relationship! Maybe they're saving that for the Breaking Dawn red carpet premiere?

Either way, we're definitely curious as to why Ms. Stewart - a critically acclaimed actress with a hot beau and a lotta dough - looks so P.O.'d in these pix. I mean, seriously!

High School Musical starlet Ashley Tisdale (who can currently be seen on TV in Hellcats went out for breakfast with her fam in Toluca Lake on Sunday in the most adorable dress in the world. Huuuuuge.
