Michael Lohan did pay a visit to The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, but he tells X17online that contrary to online reports, he had no plans to interact with Lindsay. Instead, he says his visit was strictly to meet with John Boop, President of Betty Ford Center Foundation, to discuss family therapy.

In an exclusive interview with X17online, Lohan also touches on the conservatorship issue saying:

"I never wanted to file for a conservatorship. I never had any intention of doing so. I want to stop other people from doing it ...mainly Dina and Lou Taylor, who structured Britney Spears' conservatorship. If Lou Taylor and Dina, or Lou alone sits down with me and says 'look, we'll work it so you get family therapy with Lindsay, we're not seeking conservatorship' ... I'm fine. You won't hear a damn thing from me ever again about Lindsay's personal being or her career or anything. Nothing at all. You have my word. All I want is for my family to be together in a good place. Not living together. But I just want us to be a family and there for each other, especially Lindsay at this time."

Lohan reveals that he has two people in mind that he hopes will take on both Lindsay's personal affairs and financial situation. He adds:

"We're going to give Lou Taylor and Dina one chance. I want to sit down and speak to Lou Taylor. If she gets me family therapy with Lindsay, that's all I ask. Everything will take a better course."

Aside from talking about how "unmotherly" Dina has been for shutting him out of his daughter's recovery, Papa Lohan also weighs in on Lindsay's friends like Eilat Anschel, who was spotted clubbing last night. In regards to Eilat, Lohan says she and others "encourage Lindsay to go out an do things. They don't stop her, they enable her."

As for Lilo's October 22nd court date, hear Michael's theory on how he believes her court appearance is going to go down when she faces a not-so-happy Judge Elden Fox. The clock is ticking, Linds.
