Who needs to do weight work when you can carry around one of your growing kids?
Britney Spears and her two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline (along with a team of bodyguards) went to the mall in Calabasas on Monday afternoon, and this is the second time in a week the pop princess has taken her boys back to school shopping. Someone's gotta pick some cute pre-school outfits for these kids -- and since we don't really trust K-Fed's fashion sense, we think Brit's the right woman for the job!

Seriously, someone give her a hand (and maybe a hamburger) -- this woman has done a complete 180 with her style in the past few days!
Courtney Love showed off her skinny frame in a sophisticated yet slinky dress at the 2010 New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala in New York City, and we can't even remember the last time she looked this well put together. Loves!

The Jersey Shore hunk is def the Kate Gosselin of this season!
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his abs didn't do so well on the premiere of Dancing With the Stars last night - the judges urged him to practice more and Bruno Tonioli even called him "a jackass." Ouch!
And then there was Bristol and her baby and Audrina and her... well, you know! Both ladies did a pretty decent job. Yes, even Bristol. Sorry about it! And don't forget about The Hoff; the former Baywatch lifeguard didn't bomb and that's certainly saying something.
As for who might win, right now, it's definitely a toss up between Dirty Dancing's Jennifer Grey - whose strong performance was no match for her own flood of tears (which likely influenced the judges) - and, of course, Kyle Massey. But which star has what it takes?
The GTL cutie stopped by the Letterman show in New York and not only got to play with a little pup and pony, she also showed off her bod in two sparkly outfits! Too bad she's not on DWTS this year. We'd love to see her shake her groove thing!

Today we snapped Jennifer Garner (who looked like she had just stepped out of a Gap commercial!) toting her darling daughter Seraphina around Brentwood, and the actress appeared to be on her way to the post office. Since Sera's big sis Violet probably weighs close to 40 pounds, we're guessing Jen was more than happy to take a break from her firstborn and carry her 21-month-old daughter!

The actress slash director has to stand by Mel Gibson - after all, her new film The Beaver stars him!
He's the "easiest, nicest person I've ever worked with" Jodie Foster tells the October 2010 issue of More Magazine. She goes on to say the following:
"The second I met him [working on Maverick in 1994], I said, 'I will love this man for the rest of my life.' When you love a friend, you don't abandon them when they are struggling. Of course, Mel is an undeniably gifted actor and director, and The Beaver is one of his most powerful and moving performances. But more importantly, he is and has been a true and loyal friend. I hope I can help him get through this dark moment."
Foster, who also directed, plays Gibson's wife in the film. Mel himself plays a man suffering from catatonic depression who starts communicating via a beaver puppet (in an Aussie-Cockney accent) on his hand.

During a rally for the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" yesterday in Maine, Lady Gaga said the law was "backwards."
"Doesn't it seem to be, based on the Constitution of the United States that we're penalizing the wrong soldier?" she said to a crowd of cheering students. "Doesn't it seem to you that we should send home the prejudice, the straight soldier who hates the gay soldier." Gaga went on, emotionally, "The straight soldier, who's performance in the military is affected because he is homophobic."
Despite her recent campaigning to repeal the law, it failed to get enough votes in the Senate today to merit more serious debate.
But Gaga's not giving up. Today she tweeted to Senator John McCain (the most outspoken opponent of the repeal), "the language in defense bill says it will not enforce DADT repeal until pentagon review president signs. Why block debate?"
