Today Miley Cyrus was spotted on the set of LOL: Laughing Out Loud in Paris, and the teenage starlet looked like she had a blast shopping (well, acting like she was!) with her co-stars at Bon Marche. Naturally, Miley is the best dressed of the bunch, and even though she partied it up at the VIP room the night before, it looks like she was very well rested and in a great mood:

John Travolta has decided not to pursue the extortion case against two people accused of trying to bribe the actor over his actions during son Jett's tragic death in the Bahamas.

A Bahamian judge dropped the case against ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne and politician Pleasant Bridgewater when Travolta's attorney submitted a motion to drop the case today just as a retrial was gearing up.

"The Travolta family has said that this matter has caused them unbelievable stress and pain and they wish to put this whole thing behind them," Travolta's lawyer told the court today, according to the AP.

In a written statement, Travolta said, "The long-pending status of this matter continued to take a heavy emotional toll on my family, causing us to conclude that it was finally time to put this matter behind us. Therefore, after much reflection I concluded that it was in my family's best interest for me not to voluntarily return to The Bahamas to testify a second time at trial."

The defendants were accused of trying to extort money from the Travolta family in order to keep a document that revealed John refused treatment on the scene of son Jett's death in January of 2009.

A mistrial was declared in October of last year. A jury was already selected for the retrial.

John and wife Kelly Preston, 47, are expecting a baby boy to arrive sometime this fall.

Lindsay Lohan got a good start on Friday, but ultimately George Clooney's new flick The American outperformed hers this weekend, with $13 million to Machete's $11.3 million. Takers earned $11.5 million, bumping Machete to the number three spot at the box office, but there's still time for the film to accumulate more money in ticket sales, and Lindsay is certainly proud of her work!

The actress, who hasn't been tweeting much lately, wrote on her Twitter account over the weekend, "Its a beautiful day in la to have a hit film!!! Congrats to all of the cast, crew, & production team of #MACHETE !! Danny Trejo is fantastic." Lindsay added on Friday, "I'm so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful cast & experience! It's such a blessing!", so even though she wasn't exactly invited to the premiere, she's definitely doing her part to promote the flick and stay positive about it.

Vienna must have had a longing for her former glory days as a Hooters waitress because hers were on display last night at Dan Tana's for a dinner date with her new man, Matt Nordgren.

The former NFL-er must have a thing for reality babes -- earlier this year he was linked to Audrina Patridge, although they never made it past the "just friends" stage. But things may be getting more serious with Vienna!

Thursday night they were spotted at BOA, and this weekend, the two of them were each others' wedding dates for a ceremony down in San Diego!

Lindsay Lohan is still up in the air as to whom will land her first sit-down interview post-rehab. Dina Lohan confirms to X17online that her daughter has yet to make a decision.

As for NBC's Matt Lauer being the frontrunner, Dina says that after her August 13th interview on The Today Show, Lauer personally invited her and the family back.

Dina tells X17online exclusively:

"He wanted me to go on with him again because he felt he was a little harsh. We spoke off camera and when we went on camera the questions got convoluted. Of course I know how many times my child was in rehab. I was with her as a caring mom every step of the way. My four children are amazing, strong, loving human beings and we have endured so much!"

Dina adds, "There will be plenty more positive interviews in the future."

Although The Today Show says they don't pay for interviews, magazines certainly do. It has been reported that OK! Magazine has offered Lilo $1 million for an interview. Money talks ... and hopefully Linds does, too.

After Sean Penn and former Fugees bandmate Praswell criticized Wyclef Jean's bid to run for president of Haiti, the MC is firing back in a big way.

"I got a message for Sean Penn: Maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine," Wyclef sang during Hot 97's On The Reggae Tip concert Friday. (Penn said he hadn't seen Wyclef on the ground in Haiti during Sean's six month earthquake relief mission.)

As for Pras, "even though you don't want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars in the Fugees," he sang, switching out the lyrics to his song "President."

Wyclef was deemed ineligible to run for president of Haiti after a board determined he was not a resident.

Playboy playmate Karissa Shannon is threatening legal action against Spencer Pratt over the alleged sex tape he has in his possession. The XXX footage not only contains girl-on-girl action with Pratt's ex Heidi Montag, but there's also footage of Karissa and her boyfriend, Sam Jones III.

According to Shannon's lawyer, Hayes F. Michel, the footage "was taken from her possession" and "contains private material."

In a letter sent directly to Spencer, Michel writes:

"It had been reported in the press that you were attempting to publish, distribute, sell, license or otherwise exploit filmed footage of Ms. Shannon. According to press reports, you are no longer threatening to do that. This decision is wise. Were you to follow through with your initial threat, Ms. Shannon would file a lawsuit to enjoin the sale and/or distribution and seek monetary damages from you."

Michel is demanding that Spencer return all copies of the tapes and put in writing that he will not attempt to "publish, distribute, sell, license or otherwise exploit the footage."

Spencer had been in talks with Vivid Entertainment's CEO Steven Hirsch about selling the XXX footage. However, Hirsch pulled the plug on the $5 million offer when Pratt never delivered the goods.

As for Karissa, just last week the blonde bombshell provided cameras with an "accidental" wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet. Apparently, she's not so shy.
