Nathan Parada, the man arrested on Tuesday for trying to break into Paris HIlton's home, has been officially charged with a felony count of attempted residential burglary, according to the LA County DA's office.

The heiress called police on Tuesday claiming that Parada, 31, was on her property holding two large knives. Police have yet to confirm whether he was, indeed, carrying these large weapons at the time of the arrest.

Parada, who is now facing six years in prison if convicted, is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

Mariah Carey is keeping the world guessing as to whether or not she's carrying Nick Cannon's bun in her oven! However, the songbird, 41, spoke out via her website about the speculation that she's pregnant.

Carey writes:

“I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. But I am very superstitious. When the time is right, everyone will know–even Cindi Berger [her publicist]."

Just last week, Miss Carey was photographed wearing a maternity dress in Sao Paulo, Brazil which reignited the rumors.

Hubby Nick Cannon, 29, has remained tight-lipped ... however he did say this on his NYC radio show:

"I've said it before and I'll say it time and time again ... when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her."

Oh, Mariah ... it's just a matter of time before we'll be calling you Mama Mimi!

And you know what that means? She is completely and 100% fair game in the eyes of the media and cannot hide behind mom Sarah Palin anymore... bring it on!

Bristol Palin decided that being the poster child for abstinence - not that that ever made sense - didn't give her enough celebrity attention, so now she's joining the cast of this season's Dancing With the Stars, reports E! Online.

Yes, Sarah's 19-year-old daughter, who recently announced her reunion and immediate fallout with babydaddy Levi Johnston, will now be dancing against David Hasselhoff, The Situation and Audrina starting September 20th.

ABC simply stated that the official cast will be revealed on Monday, August 30th.

Is this the best news of the week and/or the most annoyingly hypocritical move ever?

Anna Paquin has been officially added to the cast of the upcoming Scream 4 horror flick.

Paquin, who currently stars in HBO's True Blood, will only be appearing for a cameo. Hmmm ... wonder if her short role will resemble Drew Barrymore's infamous cameo in the original Scream?

Joining Stephen Moyer's new wife in the film is another blonde beauty ... actress Kristen Bell. As for what role either actress will play is being kept under wraps but we have a feeling it involves lots and lots of blood.

Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts will also star. Scream 4 is expected to hit theaters next fall.

Angelina Jolie is a busy woman!

Not only is she in pre-production on her directorial debut, about a Bosnian woman who falls in love with a Serbian man on the eve of war, with GK Films, but she's also in talks to star in their adaptation of a British miniseries, Unforgiven.

In the film, Angie would play a woman who attempts to rejoin society after spending 15 years behind bars for killing two cops.

The script is currently being written by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2), who also wrote the Jolie-Depp starrer The Tourist.

James Franco is taking us to new heights in the trailer for his upcoming movie 127 Hours.

The film is based on the true story of Aron Ralston, a fearless mountain climber who gets stuck after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm ... trapping him for 127 hours in a remote canyon in Utah. His survival story, and self-amputation, made headlines back in 2003.

Danny Boyle, who directed Slumdog Millionaire, is directing Franco in 127 Hours.

Lindsay Lohan's stint in jail won't affect her ability to reinvigorate her career, Machete co-stars Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and the film's director Robert Rodriguez said at the premiere last night. In fact, it may even make her stronger than ever.

"Lindsay is so good in the movie, and I can't wait for her to see it," Jessica Alba told People. "It's awesome. She's great. I'm very proud."

Director Robert Rodriguez was also very proud of Lilo's turn as a nun with a gun in his latest flick. "She's awesome in the movie. She's going to enjoy it a lot," he said. "She can do anything she wants. This movie is so great for her. I think she's got a lot of talent, obviously. So, it's all up to her."

Michelle Rodriguez, who also was sent to jail following a DUI, knows what Lindsay is going through and thinks Lilo will not only pull through, but flourish.

"This crazy little party girl who loves to enjoy life actually has a purpose," Rodriguez said. "So, that's really the core of why I've survived so many years and I can go and I can fall down and I can get back up. Why? Because I know why I'm here.
That's the question that a lot of people need to answer when they do fall is, 'Why am I here?' If you can answer that question, you'll be able to dust yourself off and shine like a phoenix out of ashes."

Let's hope Lindsay, who stayed home from the premiere last night to make a late night joyride to a friend's house, does just that!

Glee stars and former lovers Naya Rivera and Mark Salling are hitting out at reports that Rivera keyed his Lexus in a "jealous rage."

"Silly rumors, we're the best of friends," Mark tweeted, along with the amusing picture from the set above. "BTW, I don't even drive a Lexus," he continued.

Naya's character, Santana, may be capable of something like this, but we're glad to know it's just great acting on her part and life does not imitate art!
