After showing off her cleavage in a red hot Versace gown in Moscow the night before, Angelina Jolie hit the Tokyo premiere of Salt on Monday wearing a black dress that showed off plenty of leg.

Angelina arrived in Japan yesterday morning with Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, but she left the twins at home in Hollywood with daddy Brad Pitt. At a press conference in Tokyo, Angelina praised Brad's parenting skills, telling reporters, "He was just a wonderful father," adding that he often brought the children to the Salt set. "They played with fake blood, and they found mommy very strange in her different hair." Angelina also admitted to pranking her 8-year-old son Maddox with her disguise as a male naval officer in the film. Pax came into a room and shook hands with Angelina, not realizing it was his mom, and when she dropped the bomb on him, Angie laughed and said, "I think I freaked him out." Hopefully Maddox thought it was as funny as she did!

So will her kiddos see her latest action flick? Angie says no, they're not ready yet. "I think it's very hard for them to see someone trying to kill their mom, even if she wins," she said.

Lindsay Lohan went to jail last Tuesday, and while it was just a week ago it feels like a lifetime, probably more so for her than us!

Yesterday Ali and mom Dina went to visit the 24-year-old starlet in the slammer, and it looks like everyone is coping pretty well. But what we really want to know is, what's Lindsay going to look like when she leaves? Is she going to make a grand, sexy exit or sneak out in a hoodie?

Yesterday we spotted Rob Pattinson on the set of Water For Elephants, and while he wasn't getting snippy with photogs or any crew memebers he didn't appear to be in the best mood. What's wrong with our favorite vamp?! Is he having drama with K. Stew or is it that time of the month?

Rumer Willis went shopping at Superdry in NYC yesterday, and Demi and Bruce's oldest daughter donned a sequined frock for the occasion. Seeing as she usually dresses in neutral shades and doesn't step out of her style comfort zone all that often, this was quite a refreshing blast of color!

Yesterday Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes left their pad in this smokin' hot Saleen Mustang, and the happy couple was on their way to a meeting at the Scientology Center. But where was Suri? She's the real star of the show...

Yesterday Eclipse hottie Ashley Greene was spotted grabbing some groceries with a friend, and she showed off her amazing legs in a pair of daisy dukes. We're always been enamored with Ms. Greene, but where has she been hiding these gams?! Maybe we'll get to see more of them in Breaking Dawn? Or is Alice going to keep it covered up?

Angelina Jolie is surely the reigning action queen - after all, Salt opened this past weekend and raked in $36.5 million at the domestic box office!

That being said, it still didn't beat Inception, which held its place at number one for the second week in a row with $43.5 million.

So does this mean Angelina Jolie has replaced Tom Cruise as Hollywood's favorite action star? Salt was originally supposed to star Cruise, but was rewritten for Jolie in particular. "She's not a female action star; she's an action star," explained producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. "She's really the first female to transcend gender."

And is she worth the $20 million paycheck she received for the part? It's not as if this is the first successful action movie for the actress - Tomb Raider, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Wanted (to name a few) came first! But like Bonaventura said, Jolie is breaking gender barriers. Even the Alien series began with an ensemble cast, not a one woman show starring Sigourney Weaver.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise also had a flick open this summer... Knight and Day. It had the benefit of co-starring Cameron Diaz as well and still only earned $20 million its opening weekend. Guess we'll have to wait for box office totals, domestic and overseas, to see if Jolie comes out on top!
