Michael Lohan and Kate Major are still duking it out publicly over reports that he assaulted her in Long Island before coming to LA to be with his daughter Lindsay.

However, despite a Southampton, New York police report describing the alleged abuse, Lohan's attorney, Lisa Bloom, wants to make it clear that her client has not been charged with a crime.

Bloom released the following statement to X17online:

"It was widely and incorrectly reported today that Michael Lohan was charged with a crime. Though Michael Lohan has not yet been served with any summons, I have reviewed the second degree harassment offense charge that has been filed and made public. Second degree harassment, if proved, is a violation, not a crime. It is not even a misdemeanor. Most often, second degree harassment violations are resolved by the payment of a fine of up to $250. Second degree harassment is the lowest level charge that can be brought in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident, when there are no substantial physical injuries alleged, which is the case here."

Since the abuse allegations surfaced earlier this week, both Lohan and Bloom have maintained that he is "100% innocent."

Lohan tells X17online exclusively:

"Kate has a serious drinking problem. She made up this entire story in a desperate attempt to make money."

Kate Major has not been available for comment.

Looks like they could have also used a comedy show and a refreshing ice cold drink too! Maybe it's just the muggy weather?

Cameron Diaz is once again sounding off on her hit it and quit it philosphy, this time saying the idea of being married to someone for 80 years is "bullsh*t."

"I think the big misconception in our society is that we're supposed to meet the one when we're 18 and we're supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bullsh*t," she told UK's Stylist magazine.

Cameron was previously engaged to Matt Dillon and Jared Leto, and had a four-year relationship with Justin Timberlake, but that's apparently as far as she'll go!

"Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years?" she told the mag. "Why not break it up a little bit? I think people get freaked out about getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person but if that's the case, don't do it. Have someone for five years and another person for another five years. Life is long and lucky and yes, love might last forever, but you don't always live with the person you love forever."

That could be good news for serial dater (since the divorce) A-Rod, who's Cam's current Mr. Right Now.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced the news they were engaged just one month ago, and now a report coming out of Kerr's native Australia says they've already wed!

Kerr apparently had to pull out of an upcoming committment with David Jones Clothing (she's the brand's fashion ambassador) because she's set to leave on her honeymoon, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

In a statement from the clothing company this morning, a rep said:

"Given the exciting news that Miranda and Orlando have recently wed and will be enjoying their honeymoon together, Miranda unfortunately will not be with us. David Jones is thrilled for Miranda, Orlando and their families. This is an exciting chapter in their lives and they will share a wonderful future together."

So a quick engagement and a secret wedding? Those two are sneaky!

Brad Pitt couldn't make it to Comic-Con 2010 to promote the upcoming Dreamworks 3-D animated movie Megamind, but co-star Tina Fey made sure that Angelina Jolie's man made an appearance ... sorta.

The comedian carried a cut-out of the actor while walking the red carpet .... and even posed alongside it. She kept Brad in her arms through an audience Q&A session, too. Loves it!

Megamind, which is a satirical take on the superhero genre, hits theaters in November. The film will also feature the voices of Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill.
