We already knew Brad Pitt's production company Plan B had secured the rights to the zombie flick World War Z, (they reportedly got into a bit of a bidding war with Leonardo DiCaprio's company, Appian Way) and now it's been confirmed Pitt will star in the movie!

MTV chatted with writer Max Brooks at Comic-Con in San Diego, and he said Pitt is officially attached to the project, which is now moving forward for a summer 2012 release. “I’m glad they took their time, and are trying to make the best zombie movie they can,” Brooks said. “I’m so glad they stayed with the project and so glad they found the right team.”

No word on whether he'll be playing a zombie or a slayer, but it sounds like something we'll want to check out!

Nicole Richie kicked some major ass on Chuck in 2008, both literally and acting-wise, and now the show wants her to reprise her role as Sarah's gun-toting high school nemesis.

She'll reappear as "Heather Chandler" on an episode airing sometime in Ocotober, according to EW, when her prison transfer goes awry and she ends up being stowed away at the underground CIA base.

She'll also cause some major complications in Chuck and Sarah's relationship!

The mom-of-two has been spending her time out of the spotlight as of late. Maybe she was just training to do some more damage to Sarah in Chuck!

Here's the first peek at Gwyneth Paltrow on the set of Country Strong, and we're hoping she sounds as good as she looks! Gwyn plays a country star who embarks on a tour with her manager/husband (Tim McGraw) and becomes tangled up in a web with an up and coming male performer and a beauty queen turned singer (Leighton Meester).

The film hits theaters this December.

Two more massage therapists are coming forward to claim the former Vice President sexually harassed them.

One incident supposedly took place at a Beverly Hills hotel when Gore was in town to attend the 2007 Oscars, according to the National Enquirer.

A source at the hotel says:

"The therapist claimed that when they were alone, Gore shrugged off a towel and stood naked in front of her. He pointed at his erect penis and ordered her, 'Take care of THIS.'"

The second was reportedly a similar situation but happened at a hotel in Tokyo a year later.

The initial suit, brought on by a masseuse in Portland, Oregon, who claimed Gore tried to initiate "unwanted sexual contact" with her in October of 2006 was recently dropped due to "insufficient evidence."

Michael Lohan has officially been charged by the Southampton Police Department in New York with 2nd degree harassment in connection with an alleged assault against his fiancee Kate Major.

According to court documents, Major told police the following:

"My fiance, Michael Lohan, started a verbal argument with me because I didn't answer my cell phone when he called. Then he flipped the sofa chair over while I was sitting in it causing me to bump my head into the wall and my body to the floor. My left collarbone is sore and my right knee is scraped. He proceeded to throw a shoe at me and kick me in the mouth while I was down on the floor. I have a cut on my lip which is causing me a little discomfort. After he kicked me he said, "I am going back to jail because I'm going to kill you!"

Major goes on to say, "I am very scared of Michael Lohan and I want to pursue charges against him for harassment and get an order of protection against him."

Just yesterday, Lohan told X17online.com exclusively that aside from Major's "serious alcohol problem," he did not abuse her in any way. In fact, Lohan claims Major has made up this entire story in an attempt "to make money."

Lohan's attorney, Lisa Bloom, just sent this statement to X17online on behalf of her client:

"Michael Lohan 100% denies each and every one of Kate Major’s allegations.  He has never threatened to harm her, never assaulted her, and never physically abused her in any way.  Kate was heavily intoxicated during the verbal argument between Michael and Kate on Monday early afternoon.  Michael Lohan has been clean and sober for six years. Michael Lohan is fully cooperating with the police investigation.  No charges have been filed.  He expects to be fully vindicated."

Lohan will be formally arraigned in Long Island, NY on August 18.

Paris Hilton continued her fabulous Mediterranean vacay in St. Tropez, where she spent almost $4,000 (3061 Euros) on twelve pairs of sunglasses!

The heiress dropped the dough on shades by Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabbana in Monaco, where she also got some goodies at FNAC and Sephora before heading back to the yacht (which is owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen) and sailing to Monaco.

Paris and her sister have been all around Italy and the south of France this summer, with stops in Portofino, Monaco and now St. Tropez.

"Loving my summer with Nicky," Paris tweeted recently and we can only imagine why. A great yacht, fabulous locations and amazing company -- what could be better?

Just two days after inmates reportedly yelled wishes of goodwill to Lindsay Lohan when she checked into the Lynwood Correctional Facility, they're now frustrated that she's getting special treatment!

Los Angeles county sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore denied that the 24-year-old actress was getting extra perks, saying, "She's being treated like any other inmate in her classification. There's no special treatment at all," but the ladies inside the slammer are telling a different story. One inmate who was just released tells NYDN, "She's getting special treatment. Some inmates were getting pissy over it." The inmate added that Lindsay's cell boasts a regular hospital bed, a TV and a dresser for new clothes and socks.

Other inmates claim Lindsay was paying for special food and new clothes, and there are even rumors that Lilo has a female guard at her disposal "and access to a private phone."

Yesterday attorney Shawn Chapman Holley visited with Lilo, and a little later in the day, mom Dina and little sister Ali showed up, but not before prison officers put the place on lockdown! One inmate says she waited for hours to be released and added, "They put us on lockdown and told us not to look. It's discrimination. She's a criminal, just like me."

Hmm, hopefully no one gets violent with Lilo!
