#Melania Trump on her way to Texas, high heels instead of rubber boots. They are obviously not interested in the real distaster. pic.twitter.com/8Eji4v2ekD
Leave Melania Trump alone. Hard when ur invited to a hurricane hell zone & ur Chanel rain boots don't go w ur bomber jacket 😒 #MelaniaTrumppic.twitter.com/5sxoQv02iM
The internet is having a FIELD DAY with First Lady Melania Trump's choice of footwear and she and President Trump left for Texas today to assess the damage by Hurricane Harvey and to visit with victims.
Her haute couture speaks for itself -- shiny, cropped olive bomber, ankle-length black trousers, and Loubs -- or whatever they are -- but 5-inch, pointed-toe black heels ... to go wade in the water ... to visit Americans who've lost everything ... to comfort those in need and those who have lost loved ones ... to roll up her (starched) sleeves and help. Uh, yeah.
And yeah, should we be focusing on the victims of Hurricane Harvey and not worrying about Melania's heels? No -- we'll leave that to the rest of the media; Texas is getting plenty of coverage. We prefer to make fun of FLOTUS:

Get ready for Kanye to rage! Don't The Weeknd's new Puma sneaker/boot hybrids look suspiciously like West's Yeezy combat boot? Daaaaang ...
Selena Gomez gives zero Fs -- she sported the sneaks on a private jet flight with her assistant the other day and her girl posted a shot on Instagram. The XO Parallel Puma shoes go for $220, while Kanye's boot is double that.
Hey, let's chalk it up to the sneaker/boot being a style very a la mode ... The Weeknd didn't copy Kanye, he's merely on trend! What do YOU think?

George Clooney opened up recently, in some rare comments about his personal life and family, telling The Associated Press that fatherhood is "terrifying." Now there's the honest truth for ya!
The actor, 56, said, "Suddenly you're responsible for other people, which is terrifying." He praised wife Amal, 39, who gave birth to twins Ella and Alexander on June 6, saying, "She's like an Olympic athlete. She's doing so beautifully."
And while he chose to reveal a bit about his life in this interview, he wants to expose himself when, where and how he chooses -- NOT at the hands of the media forcing him to reveal things he chooses not to. Case in point ... George is suing French magazine Voici for publishing photos of him and Amal with the twins, allegedly shot over a wall as the couple were on the private property of their Lake Como villa in Italy.
He released a statement last month regarding the issue: "Over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home. Make no mistake the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
Lest we forget ... Amal's an attorney so paparazzi, beware!

Your turn, Beyonce!
The Kardashian ladies just donated $500K to Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts. The funds will be split between The Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Interestingly enough, Caitlyn Jenner hasn't pledged a dollar. Shocker!
Other celebs that have put their money where their mouths are include Bethenny Frankel, The Rock, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Kevin Hart, J.Lo and A-Rod.
Meanwhile, Queen Bey is busy figuring out how best she can help.
"My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help. I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can," she told the Houston Chronicle.

This isn't a shocker.
Luann De Lesseps revealed the incident that caused her to pull the plug on her marriage to Tom D'Agostino on Watch What Happens Live One-On-One, and it's nothing surprising. Basically, her husband was cheating, which is something we've all known all along.
"It was like the weekend before the reunion, basically. Tom went out and he called up an old girlfriend and they met up with a group of people and I didn't know about it. I found out about it the next day in the press, so that for me was the final straw. I was like, "I can't do this anymore,'" she told Andy Cohen.
As for those reports that the reality star roughed up her hubby in a Manhattan restaurant?
"I didn't slap him. What I did was grab his face. It was in the heat of the moment, and I was hurt by something, so I just - I wanted his attention so I grabbed his face, so it wasn't really a slap," she insisted.

You've been working out, we get it!
Kourtney Kardashian has done nothing all summer except for post pics of her bikini bod, and while she looks amazing, it's getting pretty boring. She's almost 40-years-old and it seems like she's trying to prove she's still young and hot. It's probably because she's dating someone almost half her age!
Speaking of her romance, things are really heating up between the reality star and boy toy Younes Bendjima!
"Kourtney is having a ball with Younes, he’s exactly what she needed after the hell she went through with Scott [Disick, 34] — he’s like a breath of fresh air. They’re keeping things pretty casual still, and just having fun, neither of them want to be in a a serious committed relationship right now, so it’s perfect," a source dished to Hollywood Life.
"Younes hasn’t met the kids, and Kourtney doesn’t want to introduce him to them at this stage, but if things were to become more serious between them then obviously she would. Right now though, Kourtney is just enjoying letting her hair down, and being someone other than just a ‘mom.’ Dating Younes has given Kourtney a much needed new lease on life, she didn’t realize just how much all the drama with Scott had been bringing her down, until now," the source added.

She deserves a little down time!
Demi Lovato ran errands around LA yesterday, and she opted for a comfortable denim-on-denim outfit. It's been quite the week for the "Skyscraper" songstress! She sang the national anthem at the Mayweather/McGregor fight, and then she wowed at the VMAs. As if that wasn't enough, she also earned her blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu (pic below). Girlfriend has been busy!
She's bracing herself to make even more headlines when her new song comes out, because apparently the lyrics are going to make it pretty obvious who she penned it for.
"Sometimes you put out music that you just feel like everyone is going to know who it's about. Headlines are going to come out of it, and it's like, when you write a song, you're just being vulnerable, and you're just writing about something that's inspiring you, so all the baggage that comes with it is what I'm kind of nervous about," she told MTV.
"I think that everything happens for a reason, and certain emotions are felt at certain points in your life, and you don't always have to explain them to people. So whatever you want to think about it — you go into whatever theories you have — fine. But I know what it's about and who it's about and I'm just going to let it be," she added.

He just won over a lot of fans.
Ed Skrein announced he was stepping down from the Hellboy reboot following backlash over his casting, and he sounds like he really wanted to make an impact with the decision. The actor had originally signed on to play Major Ben Daimio, who is Japanese-American in the original comic books.
"I accepted the role unaware that the character in the original comics was of mixed Asian heritage. There has been intense conversation and understandable upset since that announcement, and I must do what I feel is right," he wrote on Twitter.
"It is clear that representing this character in a culturally accurate way holds significance for people, and that to neglect this responsibility would continue a worrying tendency to obscure ethnic minority stories and voices in the Arts. I feel it is important to honor and respect that. Therefore I have decided to step down so the role can be cast appropriately," he continued.
"Representation of ethnic diversity is important, especially to me as I have a mixed heritage family. It is our responsibility to make moral decisions in difficult times and to give voice to inclusivity,†Skrein shared. “It is my hope that one day these discussion will become less necessary and that we can help make equal representation in the Arts a reality. I am sad to leave Hellboy, but if this decision brings us closer to that day, it is worth it. I hope it makes a difference," he concluded.
The people involved in making the film couldn't be more proud of the stance he decided to take.
"Ed came to us and felt very strongly about this. We fully support his unselfish decision. It was not our intent to be insensitive to issues of authenticity and ethnicity, and we will look to recast the part with an actor more consistent with the character in the source material," a statement from the producers and studio read.
