This is a bit of a surprise! Alanis Morissette and boyfriend Mario Treadway (aka "MC Souleye") tied the knot at their Los Angeles home on May 22.

Lady Gaga took home the GLAAD award for Outstanding Music Artist for her CD, The Fame Monster.

The award is presented to an artist who is "openly lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender who has increased visibility of the LGBT community and spoken out for equality via their music or media appearances."

GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios tells X17online exclusively:

"Lady Gaga boldly discusses being bisexual in her lyrics, includes gay and lesbian images in music videos and is a vocal advocate for community. Whether in media interviews or through appearances at events like the National Equality March, she sets a strong example for gay and transgender people to use our own voices and speak out for equality."
