Sex and the City 2 started off this long holiday weekend with a bang ... scoring over $14 million from Thursday night alone!

The New Line dramedy is expected to bring in over $60 million through this Memorial Day weekend.

Aside from the box office totals, the local economy is expected to surge with all of the pre-movie parties planned by SATC 2 moviegoers.

Up against Carrie and the girls this weekend ... a ripped Jake Gyllenhall in Disney's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Now that's some stiff competition. May the sexiest movie win!

Yesterday while Lindsay Lohan was trying to shop her blues away, a photographer offered her $100 to see her SCRAM.

Lindsay's been hiding the alcohol monitoring anklet under a series of long pants, but yesterday expressed the desire to bling it out and show it off under a short dress!

$100 seems like a pretty good deal to us, but Lindsay wasn't having it!

Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony are planning to renew their vows ... again.

The Latin lovebirds are celebrating six beautiful years together ... and two children, Max and Emme, both 1. Lopez, 40 and Anthony, 41, have scheduled to say "I do" again on June 5 at their Hidden Hills, California estate. This is their second vow renewal ceremony ... the first was back in 2008.

I guess Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have started a trend!

David Hasselhoff, who was rumored to have been hospitalized earlier this week with alchohol poisoning, told X17online he was feeling "great" yesterday while doing some shopping on Robertson. He wouldn't comment on his longtime battle with alcohol, but he had previously denied even being in the hospital ... this time.

Another cameraman also asked him if it was true that he had bought his ex, Pamela Bach, out of the house they shared, but the Hoff replied, "That's old news, have a nice day."

David left the tv show, America's Got Talent, to pursue his own series, but so far, nothing's been produced. He was replaced on the summer series by Howie Mandell.

After taking care of business and attended a court-appointed meeting with her probation officer, Lindsay Lohan indulged in some retail therapy and it looks like she's trying to find a fashionable solution for her brand new alcohol monitoring anklet.

Lindsay tweeted, "can CHANEL please help me out by getting me some stickers to put on my scram bracelet so that i can at least wear a chic dress?! maybe!? x"

At least she's embracing it -- after all, she can't wear bootcut pants and maxi dresses all summer!
