Kanye West looked a little too happy Friday and maybe this was why!

After former mentor and business partner Jay-Z rapped about Kanye allegedly borrowing $20 million on his new album 4:44, Kanye hit back, by splitting with Jay's Tidal streaming music service.

Kanye claims Tidal owes him a bonus of more than $3 million for bringing 1.5 million new subscribers to the service when he released his album The Life of Pablo in February 2016, according to TMZ.

Apparently Kanye's lawyers have sent letters to Tidal recently, terminating the rapper's contract with the online service. West was one of the celeb co-owners of Tidal and he claims he wasn't reimbursed for his music videos that were streamed on the service but Tidal reps say Kanye didn't deliver the videos by the set deadlines.

The leader of the free world Tweeted a video Sunday morning -- just ahead of our nation's July 4 Independence Day on which we celebrate our country's founding father's who gave us liberty and justice for all -- that shows a likeness of the President beating up the media -- specifically, CNN. It is beyond childish, it is a literal bashing of the media through a violent visual that only serves to confirm that Trump is not fit to serve. As former CBS anchorman Dan Rather says:

"Another day, another series of attacks by the President of the United States against the press. With the latest video tweet of Mr. Trump in essence symbolically attacking CNN, we once again witness the dangerous debasing of our democratic institutions.

To be outraged is obvious, but increasingly I feel the creep of dread and sadness. Dread at a sense that no one knows, least of all I fear Mr. Trump, where this all may lead. And sadness that this spectacle is now the norm of the United States."

This is where we are, folks; and as the Fourth of July is neigh, let's try to forget this idiot attack on our sacred institutions and "Stand up for what you believe and resist the powers that be ... so that the children can be free ..." Yeah, Neil Young's new single's pretty cheesy, but we prefer cliched lyrics about real patriotism to the anger and violence Trump promotes! Happy 4th, y'all!

Kanye doesn't give a flying $%&* about Jay Z's new single "Kill Jay Z," in which the 4:44 rapper claims West borrowed $20 million and goes on to address Kanye's concert rant back in November in which he slammed his mentor for not calling him after Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

We caught up with Kanye Friday at his office in Calabasas where he's probably working on some new Adidas designs and perhaps planning is own revenge single to address Jay Z's latest song.

Meanwhile, in Jay's new track, he addresses Kanye's 2004 single "College Dropout" in these lyrics: "You dropped outta school, you lost your principles / You gave him 20 million without thinkin'. He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f--k was he thinking'?"

In that 20 minutes on stage in Sacramento at the end of last year, right before Kanye suffered a nervous breakdown, West said to the crowd, "Jay Z — call me, bruh ... You still ain’t called me. Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head." He went on to say, "Beyoncé, I was hurt. I went down seven years on behalf of you. … I am putting my career, my life, my public standing at risk when I talk to y’all like this. This is a moment in the matrix, bro … Beyoncé, I was hurt because I hear that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling.’"

It's all cool, though -- maybe -- because Kim and Kanye visited Bey and Jay at the couple's rented Bel Air mansion back in January, post Kanye breakdown. We imagine some apologies were made for the rant and all was smoothed over. But will Jay's new single reopen the wound and start a new feud? Kanye looks too happy to care! Hell, maybe he was on the phone congratulating Jay on 4:44 and on little Rumi and Sir!

"I am devasted and heartbroken by this accident. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Jerome Barson and I continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers," tennis star Venus Williams posted on Facebook Friday after a 78-year-old man died in a car accident she allegedly caused on June 9.

Williams' attorney denies his client's fault in the accident but the deceased's wife says, according to a police report, that she had been approaching an intersection when Williams’ Toyota SUV darted suddenly, causing Linda to T-bone Williams' vehicle. Williams told police she had was trying to make it through traffic while driving 5 miles per hour when she had to slow down, causing her SUV to block the right of way. Another driver at the scene alleged that Williams had sped into the intersection, though Williams’ lawyer disputed the claim, according to Us Weekly.

Linda suffered broken bones but her husband was rushed to the hospital and died in ICU two weeks later. The Barson family is suing the 37-year-old tennis star and sister of Serena Williams.

Talk about a long-distance relationship!

Kourtney Kardashian is hoofing it to France to hook up with boy toy Younes Bendjima -- guess it's not over 'til it's over!

Kourt is probably getting lonely after being back home with her kids and spending NO time with Scott Disick following his crazy string of hook-ups in Cannes last month. And since Kourtney hasn't found any local D as of late, she's flying to France to get some! She wore a sexy satin track suit with crop top and one of Kanye's Calabasas Adidas caps for the trip.

Despite reports of a breakup, it looks like Kourt and the 24-year-old model are still seeing each other when they can ... #InternationalBootyCall!

The Beehive is freaking out!

Beyonce and Jay-Z have named their twins Rumi and Sir Carter, or at least we think they have. The couple's company BGK Trademark Holdings registered trademarks for the names for practically every baby product under the sun, and they wouldn't have done that for two random monikers that just happen to match the gender of their new babies.

The "Lemonade" songstress gave birth to the newest additions in mid-June, but we've still yet to get a peek at their cute faces. Knowing hip hop's power pair, they'll just casually drop a photo album on a Sunday afternoon and cause everyone to lose it.

The whole Carter clan is currently holed up in their $400K-a-month rental mansion in Malibu, but rumor has it they're in the middle of closing on a huge $130 million Bel Air pad that they intent to make their permanent residence.

There must be something in the water!

Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler and Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz are two of Hollywood's most notorious bestie pairs, but it sounds like their friendships are a thing of the past.

Let's start with the A-list actress and the Chelsea Lately host's falling out. Apparently, they had a nasty blowout fight and they're no longer friends - pun intended!

"Jennifer found out that Chelsea was spilling secrets about her marriage, and talking behind her back. Everyone is surprised over this because they were such close friends, but Jen knew that it had to be someone really close to her that was talking — and found out it was Chelsea!” a source dished to Radar.

The Cake star then ordered her longtime publicist Stephen Huvane to cut ties with the comedienne.

"Stephen dumped Chelsea after she had a huge blow-up with Jennifer, who is one of his very top-priority clients. He’s no longer representing Chelsea,” the source added.

As far as Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz go, things aren't quite as dramatic. The former wild child just isn't the biggest fan of Cammy's husband Benji Madden, and it's put some distance between them.

"Drew is no fan of Benji, and it’s a big reason for her and Cameron’s once-close friendship fading. The truth is Drew can’t stand him. As far as Drew’s concerned, Cameron’s changed and not for the better," another source told the outlet.

"Benji reminds her of all the bad boys she used to hang out with and get into major trouble when she was a teen. She worries he’s bad for Cameron. She’s definitely lost her bubbly spark since marrying him," the source revealed.

Sounds like it's time for all of them to find some new gal pals!

Jay-Z is coming clean about literally everything on his new album 4:44, and it must have inspired his mom Gloria Carter to do the same, because she just came out as a lesbian on one of the tracks. Good for her!

"Mama had four kids, but she’s a lesbian/ Had to pretend so long that she’s a thespian. Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate/ Society shame and the pain was too much to take," he raps on the song "Smile."

“Don’t matter to me if it’s a him or her/ I just wanna see you smile through all the hate/ Marie Antoinette, baby, let ’em eat cake," he continues.
