Yesterday we spotted Johnny Hallyday's pin thin wife Laetitia checking out the family's new Pacific Palisades crib, and despite the fact that her hubby is still recovering in the hospital, everyone seemed to be in an upbeat mood.

Yesterday we spotted Brandi Glanville running errands with her boys Mason and Jake, and the jilted ex-wife didn't have any comment about her ex-hubby or his new lady love, LeAnn Rimes. While we're sure she's moving on from the drama of Eddie and his affairs, we bet it still stings to see him so happy with LeAnn!

Though Brittany Murphy called husband Simon Monjack her "soulmate," a little digging reveals that the British writer/producer has a questionable past and a fairly lengthy rap sheet.

When the news broke that Brittany had died in her Los Angeles home on Sunday, Simon told Access Hollywood that his "world was destroyed," but he raised a few eyebrows when he reportedly asked Cedars-Sinai medical staff not to perform an autopsy on the 32-year-old actress.

So just who is this Simon Monjack? And why do some people call the 39-year-old "Conjack"? Though Brittany told pals that she was crazy in love with her hubby, rumors began to pop up that their May 2007 marriage was due to Monjack's expired visa. Just three months before he tied the knot with the Clueless actress, Monjack was arrested by immigration officials and he faced deportation. According to the NY Post, some of Brittany's pals claimed that she said Monjack had been "kidnapped" and that she had to pay a ransom.

Going back even further, Monjack racked up quite a record with authorities. Between 1997 and 2006, Monjack was evicted from four different homes, and in 2005, Virginia police issued warrants for Monjack's arrest on credit card fraud. In 2006, he was forced to pay $470,000 to mortgage firm Coutts and Co. after a lawsuit in the state of New York, and in 2007, his ex-wife Simone Bienne, a UK television personality, sued him in Los Angeles, and she was awarded $63,000.

While he doesn't exactly seem to be a law abiding citizen, we can't get over how creepy this next part is. In a 2008 interview with the NY Post, Monjack claims he fell in love with Murphy during a photo shoot while she was still in her teens. Monjack, who has also been linked to Senator John Kerry's daughter Alexandra (random much?) told the paper that he was "very patient" about waiting for his lady love to become um, available.

First of all, I can't WAIT to see Lady Gaga perform in LA tonight! I know everyone ate their heart while watching her last night!

Yesterday we spotted Kate Hudson and son Ryder touching down in Aspen, and even though Kate's been to the winter wonderland dozens of times over the years, it looks like her little boy is still a bit new to the scene. Hey, it's a family tradition, so he better get used to it!

But is it really necessary for just the two of them to be flying on this private jet? That's a bit excessive if you ask me...

Lily Allen has revealed that she will be taking a break from the limelight and focusing on more important things this year, like her relationship with her boyfriend of seven months, building contractor Sam Cooper.

In the latest issue of Grazia magazine Lily said, "It’s not about being famous, it’s not about all the parties, it’s not about wanting to be the biggest pop star on the planet. It’s about being happy ... For me, that is Sam, spending time at home, sorting out bed linen… being normal."

Lily also confessed that she is a bit of a technology addict, and she's trying to distance herself from that too. "I just had this revelation that Facebook, blogging, all those things were becoming a total addiction," she says. "I’d be with my boyfriend or my mum and they’d have just got half of me. So I put my BlackBerry, my laptop, my iPod in a box and that’s the end. I won’t use email, I play records on vinyl, I don’t blog. I’ve got more time, more privacy. We’ve ended up in this world of unreal communication and I don’t want that. I want real life back."

But she's not going to miss the crazy parties and her pals like Kate Moss and Lindsay Lohan? I find that a little hard to believe...after all, this girl is like the tamer version of Amy Winehouse!

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will have plenty of star power come this January, including Beyonce (who earned ten noms this year) and country cutie Taylor Swift (who earned eight herself).

Can't wait to see their performances! Think they'll be cracking any Kanye jokes if they're onstage together? You never know!
