Though there were reports online this morning that Michael Lohan had threatened to kill himself on his Twitter account, X17online can report that not only is Michael Lohan safe, but the Twitter page is a fake!

Yep, @TheMichaelLohan isn't really Michael, and the real Mr. Lohan is so upset about the fraudulent tweets, he's taking legal action!

Michael spoke exclusively to X17online, revealing his frustration about the online drama:

"A letter just went out from my attorney to Twitter - that is NOT my Twitter account and I have been asking them to take it down and they won't do it. The same thing happened on Facebook and they took the page down immediately. I don't know why it's taking the Twitter people so long to do something."

On the subject of legal matters, Michael also told X17online that Dina's claims of him owing $15,000 in back child support are a bit of an exaggeration as well! He says:

"She's been getting money from me hand over foot that she doesn't apply to child support. Every time I see the kids, I give them a $1,000 - whenever I see Cody, I buy him stuff for soccer, I pay for his classes. I gave my son Michael $1,000 for college the last time I saw him. My deal with Michael Heller was that anything I make goes 50% to my son Michael and 50% to Dina and I have that on tape!"

Hmm, wonder what Dina would say to this? And Lindsay? I guess she can rest easy knowing that the scary tweets didn't actually come from her father!

Tiger Woods has pulled out of the Chevron World Challenge golf tournament this week due to the injuries sustained early Friday morning.

"I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week," Woods said in a statement on his website. "I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I'm very sorry that I can't be there."

"We support Tiger's decision and are confident the strong field and excellent course will provide an exciting week of competition at the Chevron World Challenge," said Greg McLaughlin, Tiger Woods Foundation President & CEO.

Tiger had been set to host and play the tourney in Thousand Oaks, California this week, which would have been his last game of 2009. Tiger has said he won't be returning to the game until next year.

Tiger Woods' car, which may hold some clues as to what really went down outside his Isleworth home, is expected to be released from an area tow yard today.

The smashed up SUV was taken to Johnson's Wrecker Service in the Pine Hills area of Orlando about 15 min from Tiger's house on Friday morning.

An employee at the tow yard told an X17online photographer today, "We've been offered lots of money for pictures of tiger woods' car, but we won't do it. We work with the Florida Highway Patrol and the local police on a regular basis and we don't do things like that."

But a rep from the yard DID tell us that Tiger's car is expected to be released today to a local auto body shop for repairs.

Tiger and his wife are still being sought for questioning over the accident that occured early Friday morning, and so far, have yet to speak out on the subject. The police are working on getting a warrant for his medical records to determine what (or who) was the cause of the crash.
