This onscreen coupling would be even hotter than Brangelina in
Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
Johnny Depp is in talks to star with Angelina Jolie in
The Tourist, following massive changes in the project, according to
Variety.
Negotiations are taking place to have Depp play an American tourist "drawn into a web of intrigue" by Jolie's character, a female Interpol agent who is trying to track down a criminal/former lover.
The talk of Depp climbing aboard has come after
Avatar star Sam Worthington and director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck left the flick over "creative differences." The project was initially set up with Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron rumored to star, and when Cruise took another role, Worthington came up, and Von Donnersmarck then hopped onto the project with Jolie. Depp was then brought into the mix by producer Graham King, who he recently worked with on
The Rum Diary and
Rango. Whew!

Britney leaving LA for Australia Nov. 2nd
Britney Spears has only
just arrived in Australia to begin her down under tour of Circus, but she's already causing controversy over charging up to $1300 for VIP seats to a show that's largely lip-synched.
"Longest flight ever but we had a great time. Really cool plane and the V staff took great care of us. So excited to be here! -Britney" Brit tweeted Thursday morning (Aussie time.)
But in the wake of her exorbitant ticket prices and the reveleation that she'll be lip-synching for most of her show, the Australian government is contemplating a law that will require performers to disclose the fact that they're singing less than live on the ticket.
Consumer Affairs Minister Tony Robinson told the
Herald Sun, "We believe it is good business practice for concert promoters to make it clear to consumers before they buy tickets whether the performer will be miming, and make this clear on advertising, posters and other promotional materials." Robinson also said that concert promoters could be prosecuted if they implied stars were singing live when they weren't!
No offense to the Aussies, but after about a year on tour, if they didn't realize Brit was lip-synching, then I have a bridge I can sell them ...

Talk about father of the year! But consider this: Kate must be delighted that she doesn't have to deal with Jon and his drama at the dinner table, and it seems like Hailey might be getting her way too, so everyone wins!
In a new interview with
ET, Hailey says, "My family and I would never let him eat Thanksgiving dinner alone in an apartment. He's coming to our house for Thanksgiving. I don't care." That certainly seems like an invitation extended directly to Jon, but what about the breakup that they just talked about
the day before?
"I still planned on going to her house on Thanksgiving, that was on my schedule," Jon said. Since the two just announced their split, Hailey seemed understandably confused, saying, "On your schedule? What do you mean, 'On my schedule?'" Hailey responded. She then snarkily added, "Let's see, Kate has the kids, and she's having a nice huge meal with Steve and his family. Uh, let's see, should I go to Hailey's or should I sit in my apartment all alone?"
Jon said, "Sorry, I used the wrong term. I plan on going - I made a promise to her family I would go to her house." Even though Hailey seemed fine with Jon spending his turkey day with her moments earlier, she then interjected, "Made a promise? You're not doing my family any favors!"
Hailey calmed down and added, "We know what the right thing to do is. We know what we both need. He needs to do his thing and I need to do my thing. We both know this."
Make up your minds guys!

Although the full interview won't air until tomorrow night,
GMA gave us
another look at Rihanna's emotional sit-down with Diane Sawyer.
"That's embarrassing that that's the type of person that I fell in love with," she tells Diane in the new clip.
"I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong," Rihanna said. "But again ... I'm a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I'm not perfect."
Rihanna said her decision to finally get out was motivated by the idea that she was a negative role model for other young women who may have been in her same situation.
"Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won't? Who's to say that they won't kill these girls?" Rihanna continued, "These are young girls and I just didn't realize how much of an impact I had on these girls' lives until that happened."
You can watch the entire interview tomorrow night on 20/20 at 10pm EST.

Oh K. Stew, we still love you, but the interview you gave to
Entertainment Weekly was so very Megan Fox of you!
During a recent
EW roundtable discussion in Vancouver, Canada, Kristen was asked about the rumors of her red hot romance with co-star Rob Pattinson, to which she responded, “I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it. But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f*cking give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’†Oh so sneaky! She doesn't actually DENY that she's dating Rob, but we already knew that...
Rob tried to cut in, but Kristen interjected, saying, “I’ve thought about this a lot. There’s no answer that’s not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: ‘Okay, we are. We aren’t. I’m a lesbian.’ I’m just trying to keep something. If people started asking me if I was dating Taylor, I’d be like ‘F*ck off!’ I would answer the exact same way.â€Â
Of course, her partner in crime was right on cue when he looked at Taylor and replied, “Me too.â€Â
