Rosie O'Donnell sorta kinda confirmed to Howard Stern on Monday that she and wife Kelli Carpenter are broken up... but when she wouldn't give any specific deets on that, the subject turned to Angelina Jolie. Hey, why not!

The former talk show host had this to say about Brad's babe:

"We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through. I was a little afraid of her. She's scary in a sexual kind of way."

Of course, this phone chit-chatting came before Kelli. But damn, what if Rosie and Angie had gotten closer! That'd be, er, interesting.

Chris Brown has made no secret of his lingering feelings towards his ex, Rihanna, but we do find it quite synergistic that he's chosen to release his new video, I Can Transform Ya the same day Rihanna released her new album cover, showing the Good Girl Gone Bad completely transformed into something darker!

The video has simple set, in a Single Ladies kind of way, featuring Brown singing and dancing in front of a white background, occasionally joined by Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.

It also employs some visual effects, where Chris transforms (get it!) from sports cars, helicopters and videotape (?) into a grafitti-spraying R&B artist. There's also alot of dancing around with nunchucks and ninjas -- so in other words, acting like a 10 year old boy.

Chris sings in the vid, "I can transform ya, I can transform ya/ Anything you want, I got it, I can get it for you/ You my baby girl, so you know I get it for you," but after this Tweet he posted yesterday about Rihanna, it seems like he's the one who's been transformed into an emotional wreck.

Kelly Osbourne celebrated her 25th birthday last night at H.Wood with fiance Luke Worrall, and DWTS cast mates Joanna Krupa and Julianne & Derek Hough.

Kelly carried her heels while she left the party in flats -- we can certainly relate to the pain of standing in heels, but we can't imagine what she's going through having to dance in them!

Last night Kelly had more to celebrate than just being another year older, she's survived several rounds of elimination on the hit TV show despite injuring herself in rehearsals.

But with only a 25 out of 40 last night, let's hope the viewers gave her a gift and don't let her birthday be the last time she dances on TV!

Story centers on a Brooklyn longshoreman who becomes obsessed with his orphaned niece. The play was last scene in a 1997 revival starring Anthony LaPaglia and Brittany Murphy.

Guess they hadn't yet heard about Joe Francis filing a counter-suit against them! (Joe previously told us of his plans about two weeks ago.)

Apparently, Joe is claiming that Jayde Nicole hit him in the head at Guys and Dolls that fateful night, threw a drink at him and screamed, "I'm going to kill you!" Therefore - according to the lawsuit - he grabbed Jayde's hair in "self-defense."

Joe also claims that Brody Jenner attacked him later that night in "a jealous rage."

Uh, I dunno about Brody, but we saw the security tape from that night and it clearly looked like Joe attacked Jayde. Seriously!

Shot by Ellen Von Unwerth (the same photog who recently shot Lindsay topless), it's not quite as edgy as cover for her single, Russian Roulette, which showed the pop diva topless and wrapped in barbed wire, but it definitely showcases the much harder look Rihanna's been rocking as of late!

Here's a blast from the past: X17online caught up with Brit's former pal Sam Lutfi outside of a West Hollywood restaurant where he gave our cameraman an impromptu interview about the "sad" state of his friend's current life.

"She’s not entitled to talk to whatever friends she wants to hang out with, or have a cell phone, or go where ever she wants," Sam told us, "and I just think it’s quite sad."

We asked Sam when the last time he talked to his pal was, and he told us, "I can't say," in reference to the restraining order her parents took out against him. "But She knows I miss her and I’ll see her again soon. I think all this will come to an end and she’ll have her freedom," Sam continued.

We asked Sam if he thought, despite her imprisonment, Britney was in a more stable place in her life now than when they were close. "I can honestly say no," he responded, somewhat surprisingly. Sam added, "It would be great if someone was able to ask her that and she was able to answer that question on her own."

Sam continued, "How can you strip someone of their own civil rights to act freely and speak freely? What’s going on is unjust and wrong."

Brit seems to have been seeking an end to her conservatorship, which seems to have dragged on for way longer than necessary.

Sam is contesting the restraining order and the suit filed against him by Jamie and Lynne Spears (which he calls "lies") and is confident he'll be vindicated by a court of law.
