Captain Obvious paid a visit to the Olsen twins recently when they came up with the bright idea to include sunglasses in their immensely popular clothing line, The Row.

WWD reports that the sisters, who started the oversized sunnies trend, will start with four silhouettes, a classic metal aviator, an oversize square frame, vintage-inspired brow-line rims and a pair of round 60s-style shades.

“We’re testing the market first and obviously these are four very different silhouettes, so we’re seeing what people are responding to and we’ll open up a couple more silhouettes for fall,” Ashley told the mag. “We tried to find certain pieces that look good on more than one face, to pay close attention to how they fit certain faces and make them wearable at the same time.”

MK added, “Designing eyewear was definitely more complicated than we thought, and of course we wanted to be extremely hands-on."

The shades will retail for anywhere from $325 to $390.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester debuted the first single off her upcoming album, a duet with Robin Thicke called Somebody To Love yesterday.

The electro-pop track, described as 90s Madonna features Meester's breathy vocals along with Thicke's smooth soulful sounds.

She told Ryan Seacrest, "I really wanted to make something that's completely different from anything that's on the radio right now. I feel like it's really dancy and fun, but it's still laid back and relaxed and moody and sexy."

Paramount Pictures has confirmed that Chris Pine will play CIA analyst Jack Ryan in the latest installements from the franchise based on the Tom Clancy novels.

According to Variety, Paramount Film Group president Adam Goodman said, "Tom Clancy created an unforgettable character with Jack Ryan. With Chris in this role, we've taken our first step in creating a re-boot that lives up to the successful lineage of the franchise."

Alec Baldwin first played the character in 1990’s “The Hunt for Red October,” Harrison Ford played Ryan in 1992’s “Patriot Games” and in 1994’s “Clear and Present Danger,” and Ben Affleck tackled the role in 2002’s “The Sum of All Fears.”

This is the second Paramount franchise Pine is involved in, as he previously played James T. Kirk in “Star Trek." Way to go Chris! Sounds like someone is well on their way to becoming the next Jason Bourne!

With David already replaced by officially chose to replace Posh with Megan Fox as the star of the 2010 Armani women's underwear campaign.

But unlike the Beckhams, Fox and Ronaldo will not be appearing in any ads together. (Boo!)

WWD reports that Megan shot the sexy ads with Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in LA over the weekend. The results will appear in print, billboards, and in every boy's bedroom in America starting in January.

A&E's The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, which is to feature the family coming together after the tragic death of its' most famous son, will also feature Michael's kids, Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7, as part of the cast.

A source tells Us that Michael's oldest sister Rebbie, who has refused to be part of the series, "feels Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show."

But Janet is apparently on board with the kids being on-camera. As for Katherine, their grandmother and guardian, she's "just going along with things."

Although exposing the kids Michael took such pains to protect from cameras (going so far as to make them wear masks whenever out in public) may be seen as exploiting them, the network seemed pleased with the show, which is set to air in December.

"We have 23 cast members with the last name Jackson," executive producer Jodi Gomes told the mag. "They've done a great job opening up about losing a brother."
