We caught up with Ellen DeGeneres doing some home shopping yesterday at the Pacific Design Center and our videographer asked the newly-appointed American Idol judge what she thought of her predecessor Paula Abdul's impersonation of her at the VH1 Divas concert in New York on Thursday night.

Ellen told X17online exclusively: "I thought it was hilarious - very, very funny." Girl's gotta have a sense of humor -- it's what made her famous!

It seems like every time I write a blog about Denise Richards, she's either with her adorable daughters Sam and Lola, or she's shopping up a storm in Bev Hills or Malibu. I know she's a full time mom and she's taken care (gotta love alimony!) but doesn't she do ANYTHING else?

Yesterday Benji Madden was spotted roaming around Los Angeles, and while he was super friendly with photogs, we were kinda confused about his activities. The slightly more tatted up Madden brother was seen peering through a gate, but rather than opening it or being buzzed in, he waited for a few moments and then walked away. Benji doesn't exactly strike us as a peeping tom type, so what was he doing?!



Hmm, anyone have an explanation for this?

Yesterday we caught Ellen DeGeneres at the Pacific Design Center picking up some plants and various other items for her home, and the new Idol judge seemed a bit surprised about all the photogs sneaking around snapping her picture. I know she's a huge star (heck, she's got over 3 million followers on Twitter), but it looks like landing this latest gig is going to make her even more popular than she already is!

Talk about a random playdate! But their sons all go to school together, so I guess it's not that weird, right?

Yesterday afternoon the Beckhams and Lisa Kudrow arrived at Skatelab for a party, and while the ladies didn't seem to be in the best mood, David did flash us a smile from the driver's seat of the family's Audi. Victoria wasn't interested in having her picture taken, and likewise, the former Friends star looked super frazzled when we spotted her arriving at the indoor skate park. Blame it on the paparazzi, but we're guessing they were a bit overwhelmed by the rambunctious boys on skateboards too!

There's no need for Jayde Nicole to flip her lid (again)...Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner are just friends! But come on, you know these two are probably stirring up some sort of trouble!

Brody and Kristin went for a stroll on the beach in Malibu as cameras rolled, and we're dying to know what they're talking about! Think Kristin needs some boy advice, or is Brody getting some girl tips from his former lover? Or maybe he wants to know why Kristin said their sex life so boring "vanilla"?

Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ruled that Katherine Jackson will be allowed to challenge the special administrators of her son's estate without being disinherited.

Attorneys for Jackson had asked the judge to decide whether she could go up against attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain without invoking a clause that would cause her to lose her 40 percent share of her son's millions. Attorneys for Branca and McClain did not challenge Jackson’s petition for a ruling, and if her attorneys decide to formally challenge the authority of the estate administrators, Beckloff will schedule a hearing for the case.

While Jackson hasn't raised too much of a stink about the control over her son's finances, it will be interesting to see what route she decides to take with the administrators. She could argue that Branca and McClain are unfit to handle the late King of Pop's $500 million estate, or that he was under undue influence.

I'm sure Dean ate a hearty meal at Tra di Noi last night, but did Tori eat more than just an appetizer? Though black is slimming, the camera adds ten pounds, so I can't even imagine how skinny she is in person these days!
