Yesterday afternoon, Victoria Beckham went to the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, and Ellen unveiled a massive banner outside of the studio with her head superimposed over Posh's in one of the couple's steamy Emporio Armani ads.

No word on how Victoria reacted when she saw this, but we're sure she got a chuckle out of it! Or perhaps she made a face like this:

Yesterday Mischa Barton was snapped on the set of The Beautiful Life in NYC, and the troubled actress seemed to mimic the crazy model she plays on the show, texting and puffing away on several cigarettes as she waited for shooting to start. Hmm, think this role comes naturally for her?

We still can't believe DJ AM was found dead yesterday morning in his NYC apartment, and many celebs are in shock as well. Rihanna was spotted in the Big Apple last night, and when a photog broke the tragic news to her, she gasped in disbelief.

DJ AM was set to launch the MTV show "Gone Too Far," in which he would help drug and alcohol addicts get sober and regain their lives.

Adam spoke to MTV less than a month ago about the experience of shooting the series, and he even recounts a scene in which he walked into a bodega in New York and bought a crack pipe simply to illustrate how easy it was to purchase drug paraphernalia. He recounts how holding the pipe in his hand made him sweat and a flood of memories washed over him from the days when he couldn't live without the his "drug of choice."

DJ AM's body was removed from his New York City apartment this evening, amid throngs of journalists and fans.

It was an eerie reminder of Heath Ledger's death a year and a half ago -- the Crime Scene Unit parked out front, the Medical Examiner's van situated at the front door to receive the body on a stretcher.

An X17 photographer tells us about the scene:

"Fans were being held back by police barricades and it was a pathetic scene. There was quiet sobbing and a general feeling of shock. It was like we were all standing around, not believing what we were seeing -- this guy, who we all thought had his life together and by all accounts was the nicest guy you'd ever meet -- was being rolled out on a stretcher in a body bag. It was heart-wrenching."

As soon as the news broke that 36-year-old DJ AM (nee Adam Goldstein) was found dead in his NYC apartment this morning, the celeb Twitterverse exploded with messages of grief and condolences. Whether they were expressing their utter shock or remembering the good times they had with the legendary DJ, the messages some of his pals left for him brought us to tears.

John Mayer said, "In complete shock. I really want to use words right now but I can't get em. We're supposed to lose our friends to time, at an age when we're ready to agree to the terms of having lived a long life. Not now."

Paris Hilton, who has known Adam since she was 15, wrote, "[Adam] had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest, funniest and most talented men I have ever met. It's so hard to accept that I'm not going to be able to see him or talk to him again. There are no right words for this, I feel so sad. :( R.I.P. AM, I love you and you are already missed so much. My heart and prayers go out to his family and close friends. God bless. :( R.I.P. AM - you will be missed and always be in our minds and hearts. Love you." Her younger sister Nicky Hilton added, "I am so so incredibly sad. Miss you Adam. xo."

Upon reading the first reports of his death, Lindsay Lohan tweeted, "nononononono what?????" to which she later added, "i can't believe this.. i'm in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam." Lindsay's girlfriend and fellow Los Angeles-based DJ Samantha Ronson said, "Waiting for someone to say this isn't true."

Kim Kardashian wrote, "DJ AM was such a genuine person! He is in a better place, may God rest his soul..." while sister Khloe Kardashian said, "Tell your loved ones you love them every chance you get. You never know when it will be the last time. God bless DJ AM. I love you." Pete Wentz said, "R.I.P. . I'm sorry to loved ones. So unexpected. Tell the people around u that u love them."

DJ AM's eerie final post on his Twitter page from Tuesday August 25 read, "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems." It's still very unclear as to what happened in the hours leading up to his death, but one thing is for certain - DJ AM touched so many people's lives, he will not soon be forgotten.

With so many details and facts yet to be released about DJ AM's untimely death today in New York, it's got us wondering about the cause of the death, of course -- in a clinical way, but also the psychological reasons behind the tragedy.

Prescription mediation and crack pipes were reportedly found at the scene of AM's death -- his Lafayette Street apartment in the East Village. Goldstein had supposedly been sober for years after a bout with alcohol and drug addiction almost a decade ago. What could have pushed him to go back?

Some speculate his recent breakup with girlfriend Hayley Wood (above photo) was the cause. She had called off the relationship in recent weeks.

Or could it have been the post-traumatic stress resulting from his plane crash last year in which he and pal Travis Barker survived a fiery landing that took the lives of four others?

Whatever the reasons behind AM's apparent drug use and subsequent death, he covered up his sadness. We're hard pressed to find a photo of AM in our archives in which he's not smiling and looking like an all-around happy guy.

He was a leading talent in his field, loved by many, and he will certainly be missed.
