While Victoria Beckham says she'd like to fill Paula Abdul's shoes as the nice judge on American Idol, it looks like she has a little bit of beef with fellow panel member Simon Cowell!

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning, Posh said, "[Simon] is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work."

We can't wait to see the Posh one face off against the tight tee-wearing music producer - especially since she proved him wrong and banked millions while she was a part of the superstar all-girl pop group! If Victoria is sympathetic with contestants and snippy with Simon, that has the potential to make for some reallllly great television programming!

Victoria continued, "I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to be stood there and be judged and how it can feel when nerves get the better of you, and I don't want to shatter anybody's dream. But at the same time, there's nothing wrong with a little bit of constructive criticism. It's doing it nicely, because even those that are bad, they don't know that they're bad and who am I to shatter that?"

On receiving the news that she was going to be a guest judge, Posh totally lit up! "When I got the phone call, I just couldn’t believe it. I feel like I’ve got the best job that there is," she said. "I come to the shows with the kids and David loves the show so, it’s just great. I’m going to try hard to pout and try not to shatter that illusion that I’m a moody cow, but I’m just so happy."

Aww, we think she'll be a great fit for the show...and we still hope/think they're using this as a test run to decide whether or not they want to make her a permanent member of the panel!

Sexy parents Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were snapped on a rare public outing in Beverly Hills last night, and of course, they both looked disturbingly hot. Halle's an Oscar-winner with one of the best bods on the planet, and Gabriel's basically the male Gisele Bundchen, so even when they're somewhat dressed down, they put the rest of us to shame!

Kara DioGuardi was on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM show this morning to say that she's still stunned Paula quit the show in an apparent salary dispute.

"I can't get over it. I'm completely shocked," she told Ryan. "It's such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants. She's definitely the heart of the panel. The kind of heart she treated the contestants with she treated me with last year," DioGuardi went on to say. "She was so kind to me and made me feel immediately like part of the panel."

But Paula had no problem speaking out about the fact that she felt Idol didn't need a fourth judge, even though she and DioGuardi were old friends.

Kara says she hasn't talked to Paula since the announcement was made, but "I've left her a lot of messages."

Victoria Beckham (whose currently at the Denver auditions) and Katy Perry have already been tapped for guest judging spots on the show, but Fox is already searching for someone to permanently replace Paula.

While it's great news that Michael Jackson had over 100 previously unreleased songs, no one seems to know where they went!

Jackson's manager Frank DiLeo told Rolling Stone that there were dozens and dozens of tracks on Jackson's hard drives (including many that were left off of 1987's "Bad"), but apparently La Toya Jackson has taken possession of the hard drives, and she's not exactly being cooperative with estate planners!

DiLeo tells the mag, "They backed up trucks, removing everything. They thought Michael owned it all, so they took even the rented furniture. That's who's going to run his estate?" In another interview with Reuters, DiLeo added that he was "pretty sure" the hard drives were at the Jackson family's compound in Encino, California, and that estate lawyers will be sending out letters to recover the drives.

The drives were in Jackson's rented Holmby Hills mansion, and just hours after the pop icon died, DiLeo alleges that LaToya grabbed the drives, which are believed to contain songs Jackson recorded with singers such as Ne-Yo, Akon, and will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.

A spokesperson for will.i.am said the singer did not have duplicates of his work with Jackson, and Jackson's reps haven't yet made any comment on the matter.

Hmm, wonder why the Jackson family is being so shady about this?

With Pete on tour, Ashlee's living the life of a single mom. But being single doesn't mean she's completely solo, Papa Joe was on hand last night to escort his little girl to dinner at Il Piccolino!

Although Ashlee looks stunning (and skinny!), there's something slightly creepy about the way Joe's dressed more like a guy Ashlee's age than her pops. Before my eyes fully focused on him and his neck waddle, (not enough coffee this morning), I actually thought Ash was stepping out on Pete with this Abercrwannabe! And then I immediately went to wash my mind out with soap when I realized it was Daddy Simpson.

Luckily, Ash was able to ditch dad later for a night out with the girls at Bardot. Come home soon Pete!
