"Doug has done everything possible to win Paris back. He is madly in love with her, and he can't stand the thought of losing her. Even when she was in Dubai for a month, he proved his love to her by staying low key and not going out at all. Instead, he stayed at his parents home in Laguna Beach working out every single day. He really wanted to look good for Paris and show her how serious he is about her. He's been calling her constantly and sending her beautiful presents - he is treating her like a princess, and Paris LOVES the attention!"

Sources close to the heiress tell X17online exclusively that Paris thinks Doug is a sweetheart and she cares about him a lot, but apparently she's getting a lot of flack from her sister and family! The source continues, "Paris is hoping that they will get to know him and see what a great guy he is. He really loves and cares for Paris and all her close friends see that."

We photograph Lindsay Lohan on a daily basis, and it seems like she's always carrying a shopping bag or running into Maxfield or some other lux store in LA! Seriously, where does she get the money for this? Even the High School Musical gals like Ashley and Vanessa aren't doing this much spending, and they seem to make way more money than Lindsay does!

Jaime Pressly's rep has confirmed that the actress is engaged to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.

Us Weekly reports that the couple checked into the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego on Thursday, and Jaime was overheard telling a friend in the lobby, "Nobody really knows yet, but we just got engaged." Well I guess we all know now...congrats!

Jaime was previously engaged to DJ Eric Cubiche (with whom she has a 2-year-old son, Dezi), but the two ended their relationship last November.

The lovebirds (along with 50 close friends) will celebrate Jaime's (belated) 32nd birthday at hotspot Float. Getting engaged and celebrating your birthday with a bunch of pals by the beach? Sounds good to us!
