Pics from the
Gossip Girl set can be pretty drab, admittedly. (Except when we see an
intimate moment while shooting...
Hot hot hot! We heart them.

We spotted the actress out and about town on Tuesday afternoon and, because she spoke so eloquently at Michael Jackson's memorial service last week about their unique friendship, our photog asked her about the custody battle for MJ's kids...

The sixth installment of the wildly successful series opened at midnight and fans, both young and old, some in costume and some not, flocked to the theater to see
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...
Were you one of 'em? The sure-to-be summer blockbuster has (not surprisingly) fantastic reviews and, according
to Variety, pulled in the best midnight gross of all time!
Potter earned $22.2 million last night, beating out Warner's own
The Dark Knight, which raked in $18 mil in midnight runs last year. Think this'll beat out Batman overall?

I mean, isn't she? After all, Julia is her aunt!
Emma Roberts - who's already starred in
Nancy Drew - was spotted on the set of her latest flick
Valentine's Day, a
Love Actually-like romantic comedy set in LA on the titular holiday. (Julia's in it, too!)
Sidebar: Emma is ALSO starring in
Twelve, the dark teen drama about drugs and murder... opposite heartthrob Chace Crawford. Wonder if they have any, er, romantic scenes together!

Austin Visschedyk, a 16-year-old paparazzi photographer was taken into police custody around 4:55am this morning near Lindsay Lohan's Hollywood home. LAPD has confirmed to X17online that Austin was cited for a curfew violation, and his father picked him up from the sheriff's station in Hollywood around 6:30am.
And here's the best part...after he was released, guess where Austin went? Right back to Lindsay's house!

Please say it's true!
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff is supposedly creating a spinoff show, and he wants none other than Katie Price to star in it! The Hoff told
The Sun, "I've been thinking about basing a new show over here. It would be called
UK-Watch. And Jordan is certainly feisty and has curves in all the right places."
Ok,
UK-Watch isn't a very original title, but if Katie gets the part, she could go on to star in the planned
Baywatch film, which could take her stardom to the next level. Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson are rumored to be making cameos in the film, so it sounds like it could be a good opportunity for Ms. Price! And it sounds like work is just what she needs to get her mind off of her nasty split from Peter Andre...
Katie flew in to Hollywood yesterday to begin acting lessons, and we caught her right after she stepped off of her plane at LAX. Can't wait to see more of her!

Brad Pitt's sexy mug graces the August issue of
WIRED magazine, and even though he's rockin' a beard and a little bit of grey hair, we still think he's one of the hottest movie stars on the planet!
So why did the
Inglourious Basterds actor sit down with WIRED? A rep for the publication tells us that Brad approached them about collaborating on an upcoming project in support of his new film with Quentin Tarantino. Apparently Brad liked the mag's May Mystery issue with
Star Trek director J.J. Abrams so much, he wanted to do something similar. "He wanted to break away from the traditional celebrity magazine story," the rep for the mag said. We love it already!
Famed Los Angeles portrait photographer Dan Winters shot the cover, and in the interview Brad gives advice on proper work etiquette and some cyber related issues - but get this - the whole interview was done in character - a hybrid that was a cross between a "basterd" and Brad, says WIRED senior editor Nancy Miller. A rep for the mag added, "Brad came alone to the shoot at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood and was a dream to work with. He was game to do any and all ideas WIRED had for him and also had a lot of ideas his own, so it was a true collaboration, not to mention a lot of fun."
So what pearls of wisdom did Brad's character have to share with the mag?
Regarding online dating:
"Everyone lies online. In fact, readers expect you to lie. If you don't, they'll think you make less than you actually do. So the only way to tell the truth is to lie."
Is it okay to talk on the phone while using the bathroom?
"No, you can't talk on the phone! Do you want the guy next to you to hear your entire conversation?"
On Twitter:
"Just be sure you don't hit the wrong button and end up putting a photo of your junk on Twitter. Trust me, you don't want those followers."
The issue hits newsstands on July 21st.
