MJ's former publicist Stuart Backerman tells Us that the late Michael Jackson was "planning on doing a short duet with his son, Prince" during his upcoming London concerts. "He knew his kids would enjoy it."

Backerman adds: "He wanted his kids to see him perform at least once to get the vibe of the Michael Jackson mania."

Hmm, while this does sound very sweet, I can't help but wonder why Michael would want to put one of his children (Prince is currently 12) on stage for the whole world to see while putting them behind masks offstage.

Yesterday LeAnn Rimes went shopping in Brentwood, and we were stunned to see the singer still wearing her wedding and engagement rings! Wasn't she supposedly getting a divorce? Then again, maybe her hubby doesn't mind her going off and making out with other (ahem, MARRIED) men? Maybe they have a happy, open marriage? Whatever it is, it seems to be working!
