A battle over custody of Jackson's three kids, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, seems "almost inevitable" according to legal experts who spoke with the LA Times.

Debbie Rowe, the biological parent of Prince Michael and Paris, who initially sought to waive her parental rights, but later changed her mind, remains the childrens' legal parent.

“When a child has two legal parents and one of them dies, the other takes custody,” USC law professor Scott Altman told the Times.

Jackson's family, who feel the children will be better off with them as they have had virtually no contact with their biological mother, will have to prove that living with Rowe will be "harmful" for the kids.

Rowe didn't contest Michael's claim for full custody before, but now that his estate stands to rebound due to the simple fact that the amount of cash Michael was spending every month will now be curbed, will she fight to get a piece of that pie?

And despite TMZ's claims that the kids want to stay with their grandmother Katherine Jackson (who lives with her husband Joe in Encino), we can't help but think that Michael's unstable upbringing had a big part in his later problems and bizarre behavior. Would that really be the best environment for them?

As for Blanket's mother, her identity remains a secret, but she could come forward and try to claim custody of him as well.

As police prepare to question Dr. Conrad Murray, the "personal physician" who may have been the last person to see Michael Jackson alive, the cops are seeking to interview a second doctor on an "alleged indirect connection" between MJ's death and the prescription drugs he was taking, according to TMZ.

Dr. Tohme Tohme was not there at the time of Jacko's cardiac arrest, and was not even Jackson's doctor, but a manager of sorts. "I don't have anything to do with his (Michael's) medication or health. This is B.S. -- why should I talk to police," he told the site.

Dr. Conrad Murray's car was towed from Jackson's house (video below) to be examined by the police "because it may contain medications or other evidence that may assist the coroner in determining the cause of death."

Currently, Murray is not under criminal investigation. But that may change when the results of Michael's toxicology report are available.

We're gonna chalk this one up to shock, because the other explanation as to why Joe Jackson would be smiling and waving for the cameras is just too sad.

Joe greeted the crowd of police, reporters and mourners outside of his Encino home yesterday, but did not speak to the press, leaving that up to Jesse Jackson.

After the Reverend told the reporters, "For all those that spend their time criticizing Michael, we say Beat It," Joe and Jesse walked back into the home, where the family had some questions of their own for the police.

Rev. Jackson told ABC News yesterday that the family wanted to know "When did the doctor come? What did he do? Did he inject him? If so, with what? Was he on the scene twice? Before and then reaction to? Did he use the Demerol? It's a very powerful drug. Was he injected once? Was he injected twice?" Additionally, he said the family would most likely order their own autopsy.


The initial results of the autopsy yesterday revealed no foul play, but the toxicology reports (i.e. what really killed Michael) won't be revealed for another several weeks yet.

If there had been ANY chance of resuscitating Michael Jackson yesterday after he was not breathing and unconscious, according to the 911 call from his home, don't you think the EMTs could have figured out how to get out of his driveway a little faster than this!
