Despite overwhelming fan support, the British media is bashing Britney's first stop on the European leg of her Circus tour.

And even though Brit's added some new remixes and songs to her line-up since her hugely successful US tour, the initial reviews have not been kind.

The Sun said:

"[Britney is] completely uninspiring... A girl walking around, flicking her hair and miming to some average pop songs."

The Daily Telegraph said:

"Lipsynced, auto-tuned and double tracked, her vocals are as unashamedly pre-recorded as her backing tracks. It's the most perfectly plastic pop show ever staged."

At least the Daily Mail was charitable. Noting how Britney has overcome many of her past troubles, the paper called Spears pop music's most "remarkable comeback."

Most those review are kinda harsh don't ya think?



We don't know what's more surprising - the fact that Joe Jonas didn't flat iron his luscious locks, or that he's actually making a public appearance with his lady love Camilla Belle!

We rarely snap these two together, but it looks like the couple was hungry for lunch (and maybe a little bit of publicity) when we caught them at Joan's on Third yesterday afternoon. Even though the weather was crummy, it looks like the lovebirds had a romantic meal, and we hate to say it, but we doubt they're going to break up anytime soon!

Oscar-nominated actor David Carradine was found dead in his Bangkok Hotel room yesterday, his manager has confirmed. The 72-year-old star was in the country shooting a film, and The Nation reports that the actor hanged himself, though authorities have yet to release a statement on the tragedy.

Manager Chuck Binder told Fox News Carradine's death is "shocking and sad. He was full of life, always wanting to work...a great person." According to Binder, one of the film's producers went to the actor's hotel room and found that he had passed away.

We last saw David in February, and he appeared to be in good spirits as he left Los Angeles for Nashville. He had his guitar with him, and he chatted with photographers about his music and his latest projects. We're still shocked to think that the Kill Bill star may have committed suicide, and we'll be bringing you the latest information as soon as we get it.

Thai police told the BBC Carradine was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning.

We were a bit suspicious when we discovered that Lindsay had booked a room at a London hotel right down the street from Samantha's, and not surprisingly, as soon as the sun set last night, Lindsay was hot on the DJ's trail.

Lindsay dropped in to the Crystal nightclub on Oxford Street for a few minutes, and she soon left and headed to Bungalow 8 where Sam and her brother Mark just happened to be partying. Just a few minutes after Lindsay arrived, Sam and her crew left, but then we caught both of them getting out of their cars and heading in to Lindsay's hotel for the night!

I guess all that stalking er, persistence paid off - looks like the ladies had a little sleepover!

Before heading to Ohio for promotional duties (and a little bit of partying!) Paris Hilton struck a final pose in NYC the other day. Love the maxi dress, and Doug makes a nice accessory too - nice work P!

It's true, even Angelina "Queen of the World" Jolie gets older. The actress slash humanitarian turns 34 tomorrow - I wonder what she'll do (with Brad, of course) to celebrate!

In the meantime, let's count how many more things Angie has than her media rival Jen Aniston: Babies, tattoos, hit films... the list goes on and on!

And as an early b-day present, Ms. Jolie has been named by Forbes to be the most powerful celeb in the world, thus knocking Oprah out of the top spot. Congrats!
