Brad Pitt "has been texting" with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston amid his bitter split and custody battle with Angelina Jolie, Us Weekly reports.
The Allied actor didn't have the Friends star's current phone number, but he tracked it down through a "tangled web" of mutual contacts and reached out to wish her a happy birthday on February 11. "They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday," a source dished to the mag.
"[Brad] has confided in Jen. Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past," the source added.
The pair divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage, when the A-list hunk left her for his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star.
So how does actress' current husband Justin Theroux feel about this rekindled friendship? "Justin is OK with them being friends. He knows Jen just wants to be nice," the insider revealed.
Poor Brad could be hanging out smoking spliffs in Cabo with Jen right now, but instead he's busy paying for his mistake of running off with Angelina!

Lady Gaga has signed on to replace Beyonce at this year's Coachella, she announced on Instagram. The "Lemonade" songstress was slated as one of the music festival's headlining acts, but was forced to pull out after she found out she was pregnant with twins.
Mother Monster was more than happy to step in, following on the heels of her smash Superbowl halftime performance. Another cool part? The eccentric pop star will become the first woman to headline the festival since Bjork in 2007. "Let's party in the desert!" she captioned an Instagram of the new lineup.
Khloe Kardashian hit the medical spa with sisters Kim and Kourtney yesterday, and the Revenge Body star had one goal in mind... getting rid of her tramp stamp!
The reality star documented her laser tattoo removal on Snapchat, and she seemed thrilled to be getting back to being a blank canvas. The E! starlet got the word "Daddy" inked on her lower back when she was 16-years-old, and she clearly regrets it. We wonder if she plans on removing the "LO" tat on her hand from her marriage to Lamar Odom? Now that she's happy in love with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, we doubt she wants a permanent reminder of her failed relationship with her ex-husband on her body.
In other Khlo $ news, the blonde bombshell returned home yesterday to a treasure trove of goodies after a two week vacation in Jamaica with her beau, and to say we're jealous would be an understatement. The 32-year-old showed off all the gifts left for her in her closet, and the grand total of the items could easily be $100K! Among the best ones? A custom Judith Lieber clutch, new Yeezys, a pink Birkin, three Louis Vuitton totes, and facial products from pal Kim Zolciak.

Justin Bieber is a loner ... a poet ... a Renaissance man who enjoys communing with nature, thinking deep thoughts and then recording it in a personal and emotionally expressive song like "What Do You Mean?" He finds the existential and transcendental meditation he needs for this creative process ... in the Hollywood Hills ... hiking. He hops out of his brand new white Mercedes G-Wagon AMG, throws on a backpack and heads for the hills. That's where this bad boy gets his work done.
Meanwhile, Bieber was snapped out on the hiking trails with old pal Ashley Moore. The cute, curly-haired model sweat it out with Justin earlier in the day so, of course, rumors of the two rekindling their romance abound. Could JB be courting a new lady or is he unconcerned with finding a lady and more interested in just finding himself???

Two skin spas in one day! And we're guessing it's not just Botox and lasering ...
Kim started her Tuesday at Epione Cosmetic Spa where Dr. Ourian (Kim gives a literal shout-out to him in our video) worked on the ever-shrinking star. There's no doubt Kim's famous booty and thighs have gotten progressively smaller over the past few months -- basically since she was robbed in Paris last October and subsequently went into "hiding."
It's our best guess that Kimmy K is slowly reversing a Brazilian butt lift procedure. It's been reported the Kardashian sisters all got it done, but Mrs. West is the first to change her mind about having such a massive derriere. It's possible to go back on the decision, simply by liposuctioning the fat layer, according to top docs. If the fat is pressed deeply into the muscle layer, it then becomes irreversible. A little nip/tuck of the stretched out skin and voila... a more natural backside!
A source tells X17:
"There are a lot of reasons Kim wants a smaller butt. She wants to stand out from her sisters, she wants to fit into designer sample sizes, and she doesn't think her huge butt will look good once she really starts aging in a couple years."
Khloe, fresh of her Caribbean vacay with her love Tristan Thompson, went along for the sisters' day out, as did Kourtney (finally, a few hours away from the kids!). The trio hit up Epione to start and then hoofed it across town to Santa Monica for a visit to Nurse Jamie's skin spa. Jamie has worked with Khloe on Revenge Body so the ladies have become big believers in her treatments and skin products.
All the girls were dressed in black leggings and sweatshirts, Kim and Kourtney also carrying crocodile Hermes bags. It was a casual day out with a mission -- better skin! Seriously, we don't know how these ladies' skin could get any better ...

Looks like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have called it quits!
Let's not pretend that their joint statement, saying they are taking a "respectful, loving space" from their relationship isn't the same thing as Gwyneth Paltrow calling divorce "conscious uncoupling."
"Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," a statement from both their reps reads.
The two posed for a single photo together at an Oscars after-party and when we spotted Katy at the Vanity Fair bash, waiting for her car, Orly was nowhere to be seen.
The pair have been dating for just over a year -- and it's been a busy year. As of late, Orlando traveled to Africa for UNICEF and Katy's been promoting her new single "Chained to the Rhythm."
At one point Katy and Orlando apparently discussed getting engaged and thought about marriage and children. Bloom, of course, has son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Well, Katy can be "chained" to her work and not to Orlando now!

Khloe Kardashian touched down in LA this morning after spending the week with boyfriend Tristan Thompson in Jamaica, and the reality star has never looked happier! We sort of thought she'd return from this vacay with a ring on her finger, but it seems an engagement is not far off. The E! starlet is smitten with her beau, and has basically moved to his home base of Cleveland to make their relationship work.
"Khloe and Tristan are amazing. Khloe is madly, madly in love with this man. She is the happiest she has been in a really long time. She feels really strong about this relationship and sees a future with Tristan. He adores her," a source recently dished to ET.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hasn't been shy about showing off her affection for her NBA player man on social media, either! "My love," she captioned the below snapshot of them in the tropical paradise.
This is bad news for Lamar Odom, who vowed to win back his ex-wife after going to rehab and getting sober. Lammy better think of something quick, before Khlo is officially Mrs. Thompson!
A lot of people would love to wrestle with Justin Bieber, but his manager Scooter Braun was the lucky one who actually got to do it! JB and the music head honcho went at it on a lawn during a music video shoot, and JB basically schooled him! "Got you. Tap out. You got to tap," the Biebs shouts in the clip.
Someone who used to get to roll around with the "Sorry" crooner but doesn't anymore? Kourtney Kardashian! Apparently, the two are no longer hooking up, but will continue to make it look like they are so they can manipulate the headlines.
"Justin [Bieber] and Kourtney [Kardashian] are friendly, but not currently friends with benefits. They basically have an agreement with each other that when stuff goes haywire and drama shows up in their lives, they will be seen together to change the narrative. So when we see Scott [Disick] do something or any other news is out there that goes against Justin or Kourtney, they will get together to let people talk about them — it is there way of controlling their news," a source dished to Hollywood Life.
The Canadian crooner seems to be bouncing back from his heartbreak over Selena Gomez and The Weeknd!
