While many celebs like to promote environmental causes, the readers of Dailygreen.com say Mariah Carey is anything but green.

In a poll for the site, Carey is singled out for her gas-guzzling and emission-expelling lifestyle that includes flying her private trainer on a private jet from New York to St. Barths.

But other celebs earn their "green-cred" by practicing what they preach.

Leonardo DiCaprio was named the best male celebrity for his ongoing activism and the creation an environmental foundation. He also co-wrote, co-produced and narrated a documentary about the dangers of global warming.

Oprah was singled out as the woman doing the most to protect the environment and often features important environmental issues on her talk soon.

Maybe Oprah can have a little chat with Mariah, it is Earth Day after all!

After Lauren Conrad announced that she was taking a break from her overpriced high-end clothing line, US Weekly reports that the Hills honey is launching a new line with Kohl's.

Lauren tells the mag that her new collection, called LC Lauren Conrad "is a California chic line. It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere."

And it looks like the reality TV starlet is getting a little more realistic in her price range too - the apparel will run from $20 to $60 per piece.

On her decision to put the brakes on the pricier line and focus on a more economical clothing collection, Lauren said, "It was just kind of a battle I had because I wanted to do a higher-end line - I wanted to do a contemporary line - but I was also very aware that the reason I was able to do it at such a young age was because of fans that have supported the show and have supported me."

First the girls were spotted at MTV Studios, then they stopped by French Connection, and the duo left the store covered in sexy FC threads. Even though Ali was a little camera shy, Lindsay flashed photogs a sexy smile as she strutted around in a super short dress. Nothing wrong with showing off your goodies!

Variety reports that Angelina, Fox 2000 and author Patricia Cornwell are teaming up for a film franchise based on Cornwell's bestselling book series on medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta.

There are 16 novels in the series, which will be turned into a suspense thriller similar to "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Seven." Scarpetta is an opera-loving coroner, and this seems like the perfect match for Angelina - she's one of the most sought after female movie stars, and Cornwell is one of the best selling female authors in the world.

Can't wait!

Ugh, I know right! What happened? The Hills starlet was spotted strolling down Robertson Tuesday afternoon doing a little shopping. Is it her face, her hair? I know it's not the blah outfit, but she looks super-cute! Kudos, Audrina. I'm shocked but impressed.

Even in the NYC rain, Lily just had to get in a few puffs before her show at the Roseland Ballroom last night.
