Ashton Kutcher edged out CNN in the race to be the first to line up one million followers on their Twitter accounts.

In a friendly wager, Ashton promised to donate 10,000 mosquito bed nets for World Malaria day if he won.

Ashton streamed live from a webcam as he counted down the members nearing the million mark. At the same time on CNN, Anderson Cooper was urging people to join CNN's Twitter page.

But sometime late on Thursday night, Ashton tweeted "Victory is Ours!!!!" after surpassing the million follower mark.

"I just found it astonishing that one person can actually have as big a voice online as what an entire media company can," Kutcher said.

Despite telling X17online she misses Lindsay, last night, one of our spies reported that Sam seemed quite "content" without her!

MTV has given the go-ahead to a new intervention-type reality show with DJ AM.

"Gone Too Far," will feature tough love interventions for teens struggling with drug and alcohol problems. DJ AM has battled drug addiction in the past.

Last year, DJ AM revealed that his past included abuse by his father, addiction to drugs and a suicide attempt. He said goes to recovery meetings and has been sober for nearly 10 years.

The National Enquirer says Jessica Biel's dad is starting to put some major pressure on her longtime beau to pop the question.

“Jessica’s dad is really putting heat on Justin to marry her,” an insider told the tab. “Jon’s [Jess' dad] been calling Justin a lot lately for man-to-man talks.
