Ivanka Trump Brand Dropped By Nordstrom

The backlash over President Trump is hitting his daughter's pocketbook.

Ivanka Trump's brand has been dropped from Nordstrom, but the retailer insists they chose to stop selling the items because they weren't performing well, not because of that whole Grab Your Wallet campaign.

"We’ve said all along we make buying decisions based on performance. In this case, based on the brand’s performance, we’ve decided not to buy it for this season," a Nordstrom spokesperson told Fortune.

The campaign to boycott a list of companies that support Donald Trump has really taken off, and includes such popular brands as New Balance. The move seems to have ignited a trend, as 15 products from Ivanka's jewelry line are mysteriously missing from the Neiman Marcus website as of this morning.

If you don't understand what we're talking about, let us explain...

Leonardo DiCaprio dined at a restaurant in Dubai on Thursday, and had his meat personally seasoned by Salt Bae. Who is Salt Bae, you ask?

Well, he's a Turkish chef named Nusret Gokce that owns severals steakhouses in the region called Nusr-Et, and he became a viral meme at the beginning of this year for the dramatic way he tosses spices onto his creations. Everyone on the Internet started adding funny captions to his picture, and voila... Salt Bae became a thing!

You should do yourself a favor and Google him, but below are two of the hundreds of hilarious ones!

Angelina Jolie Releases New Trailer For Netlix Passion Project First They Killed My Father

Posted on Fri Feb 3rd, 2017 9:00am PDT       By X17 Staff

She won't give up trying to tell the stories that are difficult to hear.

Angelina Jolie released the trailer for her new Netflix passion project First They Killed My Father yesterday, and to make it authentic, she only used Cambodian actors and survivors of the genocide and narrated it in the native Khmer.

The film is based on an autobiography of Cambodian human rights activist and friend of Jolie’s Loung Ung, and it details the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge communist party in the 1970s.

"It's the first time there's something on this size about this war in this country. I feel like nobody is here for themselves and everybody here to do any job is here to put something forward and help their country speak," she explains in the clip.

The region holds a special place in the Oscar winner's heart, as she shot Lara Croft: Tomb Raider there in 2001 and adopted son Maddox from an orphanage in Battambang, Cambodia, in 2002. Her eldest son inspired her to take on the movie.

"He was the one who just called it and said he was ready and that he wanted to work on it, which he did. He read the script, helped with notes, and was in the production meetings," she told The Guardian.

First They Killed My Father will premiere in Siem Reap, Cambodia on February 18, and will be released globally on Netflix later this year.

Dakota Johnson Takes The Plunge At Fifty Shades Darker Premiere

A racy dress for a racy flick!

Dakota Johnson dared to go braless in a blush Valentino gown at the Fifty Shades Darker premiere last night in LA, and if she wanted to get a lot of attention for the movie, this is certainly a way to do it!

The actress clearly has no problem with nudity, as her character is the submissive in an S&M relationship, but she recently admitted that filming those intimate scenes was a lot easier because of her comfort with co-star Jamie Dornan.

"Nudity is really interesting for an actor. Jamie and I worked so incredibly closely for so long. There were no inhibitions, and it was very honest, very trusting. But I mean, what a gamble! What if he had turned out to be a total d**k? There's no make-up. There are no clothes to tell you a bit about the story. There's no jewellery to give you a clue about social status. So it becomes purely about the performance," she explained to Vogue.

"[Filming the sex scenes] was definitely not as petrifying as the first time. It never gets [easy], but because we've become so close it was a lot easier to make [the scenes] special," she added to ET.

She's pretty darn convincing as Anastasia Steele, we'll say that!

We Think Arnold Schwarzenegger's Not Kidding, He REALLY Dislikes Trump

Posted on Fri Feb 3rd, 2017 8:00am PDT       By X17 Staff

After President Trump took time out of the National Prayer Breakfast to tell the world that Arnold Schwarzenegger's job as his replacement on The Apprentice has been a dismal failure, the Terminator struck back! We caught up with the former California governor after he had a lunch meeting in Beverly Hills, on Thursday, and when Arnie left chopping on a cigar and with a very determined stride, he certainly looked like he meant business!

Schwarzenegger's video response to Trump's criticism caused shockwaves on the internet, with fans overwhelmingly supporting the Austrian-born actor/politician when he suggested he trade jobs with the President: "Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don't we switch jobs? You take over TV because you're such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job. And then, people can finally sleep comfortably again. Hmm?"

Trump had said, "They hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place. And we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes."

And we hired a real estate dude to run the country, and the nation went right down the tubes ...

The National Prayer Breakfast?

Blac Chyna Poses Nude For African-American History Month

Blac Chyna stripped down in honor of Black History Month -- or, as Trump calls it, African-American History Month. We're not sure why looking at Chyna's T&A in body paint is a way to celebrate this history, but ...

Ms. Rob Kardashian posted these snaps on her Instagram account, with the caption: "In celebration of Black History Month, I wanted to push out my inner Queen, express my ethnicity and beauty unapologetically!" And with the single words, one on each pic - "Queen. History. Bold."

Bold is right!

Amy Schumer Sends A Message - Oppose Secretary Of Education Nominee Betsy DeVos By Calling Your Senator!

Posted on Fri Feb 3rd, 2017 6:01am PDT       By X17 Staff

Dang, girl! Politically-active comedienne Amy Schumer showed us just how passionate she is about keeping President Donald Trump's cabinet nominees in check, by writing up some signs to show to the paparazzi as she left her sushi lunch in Beverly Hills. The signs oppose Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos. Schumer implores fans to "Call Your Senator To Oppose" and offers US Capital's switchboard number to help activists get started.

In case you didn't know, Schumer comes from a political pedigree -- her cousin is New York Democrat, Senator Chuck Schumer. She's supported the Senator's policy on gun control and his fight against Trump's recent anti-immigration mandate. She also attended the Women's March in Washington, D.C. and spoke to the crowd there. She Tweeted, the day after Trump's inauguration, "Trump is about to bombard us with so many awful decisions. We need people alert and fighting for each other's rights. Call congress. Call the senate. We need to wake up and rise up together."

Angelina Jolie Blasts President Trump's Refugee Ban In New York Times Op-Ed

Posted on Thu Feb 2nd, 2017 2:20pm PDT       By X17 Staff

We were wondering when she was going to weigh in on this!

Angelina Jolie has been a special envoy for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees since 2001, so to say she's well-informed would be an understatement, and the actress is outraged by President Trump's recent immigration ban.

"Refugees are men, women and children caught in the fury of war, or the cross hairs of persecution. Far from being terrorists, they are often the victims of terrorism themselves. Americans have shed blood to defend the idea that human rights transcend culture, geography, ethnicity and religion. The decision to suspend the resettlement of refugees to the United States and deny entry to citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries has been met with shock by our friends around the world precisely because of this record," she wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times.

While the Oscar winner agrees that the safety of our nation is important, she doesn't believe that the current administration's executive order is the solution. "Our response must be measured and should be based on facts, not fear," she fumed.

The issue hits close to home, as all of her kids were born outside the United States.

"As the mother of six children, who were all born in foreign lands and are proud American citizens, I very much want our country to be safe for them, and all our nation’s children. But I also want to know that refugee children who qualify for asylum will always have a chance to plead their case to a compassionate America. And that we can manage our security without writing off citizens of entire countries — even babies — as unsafe to visit our country by virtue of geography or religion. It is simply not true that our borders are overrun or that refugees are admitted to the United States without close scrutiny," she concluded.

Saint Angie should be our leader!
