Taylor Swift’s ex and Robert Kennedy’s grandson, Conor Kennedy, was arrested on Thursday night after getting into a bar fight at Bootsy Bellows in Aspen, Colorado. Tres shocking!

But this hoopla is not exactly what it seems — the Kennedy was apparently got into the fight defending a male friend who was called a homophobic slur by two bar patrons.

According to the Associated Press, the 22-year-old and the other man got in the dust up outside the swanky spot around 1:40 AM. the two were rolling around according to authorities, who saw Conor punch the man in the head multiple times before intervening. The police separated them, however Conor allegedly struggled with the officer and then fell in a snowbank.

The police report confirms that Conor was struggling with an officer who tried to arrest him. The Aspen Times reported that Conor was booked on a municipal disorderly conduct charge and could face a penalty of up to a year in jail and a $2,650 fine. He’s due in court on February 22.

According to the paper, Conor did in fact tell police that the man he fought used a derogatory word against his friend as per the police report.

Robert Kennedy Jr. quickly defended his son's actions, releasing a statement: “Conor has always reacted against bullying. I’m happy he stood up for his friend. I’m very sorry it turned into a police incident. [Conor’s] not liking the attention.

It’s certainly way better to be in the headlines for making out with T-Swift than for decking a dude in a bar fight!

The network exec and the Phd student met back in March 2015, but clearly they're still in the honeymoon phase.

Halley Berry and husband Olivier Martinez have finalized their divorce more than a year after they split, TMZ reports. The couple announced they were splitting back in October 2015, but reportedly had second thoughts about pulling the plug this past September and put the dissolution of their marriage on hold.

Both of them filed as the petitioner, but under California law only one of them can claim that title, so the French actor rolled over and allowed the Oscar winner to wear the pants. As for their son Maceo, 3, the former couple will share physical and legal custody. They haven't divided up property yet, but they had a prenup so there should be no huge disputes.

Good news fellas, she's back on the market!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden caught a flight out of LAX on Wednesday with their kids Harlow and Sparrow, and the couple seemed perfectly happy and ready for vacation, despite rumors that the fashion designer is on the verge of pulling the plug on their marriage.

The mother-of-two is apparently fed up with her hubby's wandering eye. "Nicole has tried everything! She’s just reached the end of her rope. She was a wild child once, but they have two kids now and she believes Joel needs to grow up for them — if not her," a source dished to Radar.

The former reality star allegedly "freaked out" after the Good Charlotte rocker was photographed with a young blonde at a Beverly Hills restaurant in October. "Nicole exploded and told him that was the last straw,” the source added.

Family time is always the best remedy for any problem, although we don't believe their love is dwindling.

Elton John broke down in tears as he played an emotional tribute to late pal George Michael during his Las Vegas concert on Wednesday, and it's clear the music legend is still struggling to come to terms with the British pop star's untimely death.

The Wham! frontman was found dead in bed by his boyfriend on Christmas morning, and Hollywood was quick to mourn him on social media.

Elton played "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" and told the audience, "I only wish George was here to sing it with me."

"There were thousands of us in tears, and it was very emotional. Elton had sung a song in memory of John Lennon when he spoke about George Michael. After he sang for George, he turned his back on the audience and was shaking and looked like he was crying. I was in tears and so was everyone around me," a concertgoer told Daily Mail .

We still can't believe he's gone.

Serena Williams is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and the tennis ace announced the happy news on... you guessed it, Reddit!

Jennifer Lopez went shopping at Chanel in Beverly Hills yesterday, and the singer was peppered with questions by photographers about her new romance with Drake. In true J.Lo fashion, she kept it classy and declined to comment, but apparently the Bronx-born beauty is already head over heels for the rapper.

"Jen is looking forward with excitement to the new year. She keeps hanging out with Drake, and he has visited her house. She has nothing but nice things to say about Drake," a source dished to People.

“Jen loves the attention and she seems very happy to be spending time with him. Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with lots of respect. She seems very smitten," the source added.

A lot of fans think the pair are just faking a relationship to garner attention for their new musical collaboration, but this seems to be shaping up to be the real deal!

Brad Pitt hasn't seen much of his six kids since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in September, but the actor caught a lucky break and was able to spend time with his brood over Christmas, Us Weekly reports.

"Brad did see the kids at some point for a holiday gift exchange," a source dished to the mag. "[Brad] gave them presents and it was cordial," the source added.

The Allied star's visit was supervised by the children's therapist, per the temporary custody agreement.

The estranged couple's split has been anything but a conscious uncoupling. Just last week, the A-list hunk requested that their case be sealed and accused the mother of his children as having "no self-regulating mechanism." He also alleged the Oscar winner is not considering their "children's best interest [while] attempting to clear the way to put in the public eye any allegations she can, without regard to the impact on the minor children."

The actress, meanwhile, believes her estranged husband's legal moves are "just a smear tactic" to sway the court's custody decision.
