The former star of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant star Valerie Fairman had died of an apparent overdose, according to TMZ. She was 23 years old.

Her mother told the site that her daughter had been at a friend’s home in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday. The 23-year-old would not come out of the bathroom, so her friend broke down the door and found her unresponsive.

MTV released a statement: “We are saddened by the news of Valerie Fairman’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this time.”


Teen Mom 2’s Chelsea Houska took to social media to pay tribute to the troubled star, writing, “How incredibly sad. My heart goes out to her daughter and family.”

16 and Pregnant’s Jenelle Evans also posted her shock over the the late mother’s death. One tweet read, “Oh my god.  I just spoke to her a couple months ago and told her I'm proud of her and looks like she's doing good.” She posted another tweet that said, “This really upsets me. Thanks for letting me know. I told her to stay on track.” Evans also posted an Instagram, remembering her late friend.

Back in 2010, Fairman starred on the second season of 16 and Pregnant, which documented the birth of her daughter Nevaeh, who is seven years old now.

The reality star had struggled with substance abuse for several years. She was arrested in 2015 on prostitution charges in Delaware. A week ago, she was arrested for resisting arrest and giving false identification to cops.

The little one was born December 5 weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long. The couple are also parents to daughters Natalia Diamante, 13, and Gianna Maria-Onore, 10.

The pair met in November 1999 when the former Laker was 21 and she was 17. They married in 2001, but Vanessa filed for divorce a decade later amid rumors the athlete cheated on her. Ultimately, they decided to reconcile and call off the divorce in January 2013.

The big-voiced French Canadian reportedly said no the president-elect’s invitation to perform at his inauguration ceremony on January 20.

According to TheWrap, Trump and his planning team, which is led by Celebrity Apprentice producer Mark Burnett, were not able to book the singer.

A source told the site that the Trump's pal, Vegas hotelier Steve Wynn, had promised to nab the 48-year-old singer, but failed to come through. Money can't buy everything apparently!

It's unknown if her reasons for declining were personal, political or the fact that she has a long-scheduled concert date in Las Vegas on Inauguration Day.

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer isn't the only one who's rejected the Trumpster -- Garth Brooks also passed on an invite to perform. TheWrap also reported that opera star Andrea Bocelli met with Trump, agreed to perform, but then pulled out because his fans were putting pressure on him because they were unhappy with his decision. David Foster also said no to organizing Trump’s inauguration.

The only person who did accept the offer seems to be a 16-year-old America's Got Talent alum named Jackie Evancho. Let's just hope Trump doesn't grope her!

The drawbacks of being Donald Trump's daughter!

Ivanka Trump was harassed about her father by a fellow passenger on a JetBlue flight to Florida this morning, but the 35-year-old remained calm and cool and simply tried to distract her kids with drawing as flight crew removed the heckler from the aircraft.

"Your father is ruining the country," Dan Goldstein, a lawyer from Brooklyn, screamed as she sat in her seat. "Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private," the man continued. We're more shocked at the fact she was in coach!

Goldstein's husband Matt Lasner tweeted that the incident wasn't as volatile as it seemed. "My husband expressed his displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane," he wrote.

This won't be the last time she has to deal with something like this!

Despite reports to the contrary, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are NOT in couples counseling -- but each of the pair is in therapy.

A source told People, “They are still both receiving individual therapy. Kim is dealing with the trauma from the robbery. Kanye is receiving help for depression and learning how to cope with stress better.”

The source added, “They might be thinking about couples therapy, but so far it seems they haven’t had any sessions together."

After Kanye's "temporary psychosis" last month, a source tells Us Weekly that, "Kanye does still see a therapist every day."

In addition, Kim has been seeing a therapist after she was robbed at gunpoint by five masked men in Paris in October. Kardashian, for her part, visited a therapist after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris this past October.

Apparently, Yeezy is improving after his meltdown and subsequent hospitalization. “He’s doing a lot better,” another source tells Us. “He’s definitely getting better at saying no to projects.”

Jim Carrey as asked the judge in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White's mother, to strike all mentions of him suffering from multiple STDs and passing them to White during their relationship, saying the claims are “irrelevant” to the case.

Carrey, 54, references White's two suicide notes as evidence he was a positive element in her life and that his ex-girlfriend never mentioned her own mother, Brigid Sweetman, in the letters: "From the two suicide notes, it is indisputable that White looked to Carrey as the person she loved and trusted most," the legal documents read. He calls Sweetman's lawsuit a "shakedown" and a shameful attempt by White's mother to profit from her daughter's death.

Sweetman's lawsuit claims "Jim Carrey has admitted he gave Ms. White multiple sexually transmitted diseases and purposely lied to her" and says he obtained the drugs that killed White under a pseudonym despite knowing White was prone to depression.

Carey claims Sweetman has admitted to other parties, that harsh voice messages she left for her daughter days before her death may have caused White to take her own life. He calls Sweetman's allegations against him "nonsense."

Justin Bieber has been indicted in Argentina for allegedly telling his bodyguard to beat up a photographer and steal his camera when he was in Buenos Aires back in 2013.

Bieber was ordered to return to the South American country last year, failed to do so and a warrant was issued for his arrest. His attorneys intend to appeal the judgement; meanwhile, Justin can't head to the largest country on the continent because of the legal trouble.

Back in May, Bieber Tweeted an apology to his fans: "Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but the Argentinian government won’t allow it. So sorry. If things were to change I would love to come but at this time I cannot. For everyone else in South America I look forward to seeing you."
