Longtime Scientologist Jason Lee has left the controversial church!

The former My Name Is Earl actor, who began practicing the religion in the early '90s after being introduced to it by then-girlfriend Marissa Ribisi, just gave the scoop to a local news outlet, The Dentonite. The funny man moved to Denton, Texas (which has a population of just over 113,000) to live a quieter life with his wife Ceren Alkac, and their daughter, Casper, 8, and son Sonny, 4, in 2015.

In the interview with the local paper, the actor squashed rumors that he and his wife were in the area, buying up real estate in order to open a Scientology center. He explained to the reporter: “If Ceren and I had an idea for a business, it certainly wouldn’t happen at the cost of someone else’s,” he continued. “And being that we don’t practice Scientology, and that we aren’t particularly interested in opening religious centers in general, we have no plans to open a Scientology center."

The actor added, "Quite a few rumors about me/us floating around, but none of it’s true. We’re not here to buy up or change or take over Denton, put some kind of personal stamp on it. We’re just here like anyone else who wants to be a part of Denton’s very cool creative community, and to be involved and perhaps help where we can.”

On rumors that he'd bought a space to turn into a Scientology center, the actor added, “I haven’t purchased anything in Denton. That was never really the plan. But I do rent a little photo office space. It’s nice to have a place away from home for scanning and editing my film photos, listening to records and just being around my cameras and books and whatnot."

Well … there ya have it folks, Jason Lee's not a Scientologist any more! We have a feeling John Travolta is not going to be happy about this one!

We wonder if this has anything to do with the open letter that Lee's ex wife Carmen Llywelyn wrote, blaming the church for the couple's split.

Llywelyn told Gawker, “I started to feel like he was forcing Scientology on me, past the point where I didn’t want to go any further. He would never stop talking about it.” She also said, “It became a source of contention, and I realized that unless I accepted Scientology the way he did and the way he wanted me to, we would most likely cease to know each another.”

Maybe they can know each other now that Lee doesn't consider her an SP any more?

She's flying high!

Caitlyn Jenner, who is aiming for her commercial's pilot license, was getting some hours in on a single-engine propeller plane over the weekend. Wow! She's one brave lady!

On Sunday, The high-flying reality star flew her plane out of Camarillo (we hope she stopped by the outlet malls!) to Lake Tahoe and back, logging six hours towards her certification.

A source tells X17online exclusively, "Caitlyn wants this to be her next gig. She's exhausted the reality show thing for now, so she wants to follow her passion and become a pilot."

Even during a solo flight, Caitlyn is showing some skin, highlighting her shoulders in an off-the-shoulder top. She's so on trend!

Getting a commercial's pilot license means she wants to get paid to fly people around. So this move isn't to fly friends and family around, she wants people to give her cash money for a ride.

Since her show I Am Cait got cancelled it seems she's decided to try on a pilot's hat instead. Does this mean that one day she'll be helming a Delta plane?! Based on her history of driving cars, maybe Cait should choose a profession other than flying the friendly skies ...

Kris Jenner's been sporting a new sparkler recently and for some reason, this weekend the media went into overdrive trying to claim the millionaire momager is engaged to boy toy Corey Gamble! We first spotted KJ with her massive new diamond ring -- on her ring finger -- as she disembarked a jet from New York last week. Perhaps not coincidentally, Corey was also sporting some new bling on his ring finger. Then, Kris wore this ring at the Summer Spectacular for The Brent Shapiro Foundation in Los Angeles on Sept. 17, but sources say the new ice isn't what it seems ...

"She made sure to do the ring thing on that finger so people would be talking and then find out where she was at. She has been friends with Robert Shapiro forever and she wanted to the word out on his son and his foundation while talking to as few people as possible. A picture speaks a thousand words and she did it on purpose but is not engaged," a source dished to Hollywood Life.

At the event, the Kardashian family matriarch also took the opportunity to dish about daughter Khloe's new relationship with NBA star Tristan Thompson. "They are really cute. You know, she's having a good time. He seems like a really nice guy," she told E! News.

So what makes Khlo and the athlete such a good match?

"I don't know! I think just with any relationship, just in life, I think it's about chemistry and about values. You know, about how two people get along, so...you know how that goes!" Kris added.

Khloe might be bound for the alter in the near future, but Kris seems content to sit on her bundles of cash and stay single!

Anthony Bourdain has split from his wife of 9 years Ottavia Busia, she announced in a statement to Page Six.

It sounds like all the time the celebrity chef spends traveling around the world for his show Parts Unknown took a toll on their relationship.

"Because of professional decisions we both have made, my husband and I have been for years in an unconventional relationship. Nothing has changed. We love each other. We respect the decisions the other has made. And we’ll always consider ourselves a family," she explained.

The pair married in 2007 and are parents to a nine-year-old daughter.

Blanket, who hasn't been dangled over a crowd in over a decade, was wearing a super hero shirt and athletic pants as he lunched with some older men in the 'Bu. The long-haired teen was smiling and appeared to be having a good time during his lunch in the ritzy 'hood.

Oh and apparently Blanket has shed his infamous name -- he goes by "Bigi" now.

On Sunday, the 34-year-old flaunted her toned body in a flower patterned bralette and tiny pink shorts while dancing around to to Meghan Trainor's hit song "Me Too."

The mom of two captioned the video, "It's been a while since I've cut loose 😂😜." She certainly did cut loose -- and we love it!

The singer highlighted her taut tum, sculpted legs and her bottom while shaking it to the pop song. Britbrit was getting super into it -- she even flashed her undies to the world! Oh and those extensions -- they're ridiculous!

Kanye West is on Instagram, but we're confused. Earlier this week he said he got rid of his phone (he said it's so he "can have air to create"), so is he gramming it up from wife Kim Kardashian's cell?

In typical Kanye fashion, the post doesn't make much sense. It doesn't have a caption, and we can't even tell if the person in the futuristic car is even Kanye. Sidebar: Why isn't he even following Kim on IG? Seems weird, right?

While Kanye is known for his epic Twitter rants, apparently he's looking to make his newly-launched Instagram page more of a curated experience. Back in March he tweeted, "On another note... I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition... no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... It's my art..."
