Following Alexis Arquette's sudden passing at age 47 on Sunday, her brother David and his ex Courteney Cox are breaking their silence on the tragic loss. X17online was the first to break the story.

"Thank you all for your love and kind words about Alexis. My hero for eternity," the Scream actor tweeted. "My heart goes out to anyone who was lucky enough to know Alexis. We will love and miss you forever," the Friends star wrote in her own statement.

Eldest brother Richmond Arquette confirmed the sad news in a touching Facebook post yesterday.

"Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning September 11, at 12:32 am. He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones. We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie's 'Starman.' As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension," he wrote.

Arquette was said to be suffering from an unknown illness, but an official cause of death has yet to be released. RIP.

Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, Christian Bale and more got gussied up in their best duds to attend the world premiere of the film Sing during the 41st Toronto International Film Festival.

Sing is an animated film about a koala named Buster (McConaughey) recruits his best friend to help him drum up business for his theater by hosting a singing competition.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's reality show premiered last night, and the couple decided to reveal their unborn baby's gender during the episode. The pair are expecting a baby girl! Although the sock designer said in a previous scene he was hoping for a boy to carry on the family name, he seems excited at the prospect of a daughter.

"It's an emotional moment. Me wanting to have a boy, it definitely stems from my dad but I'm sure I'll have the same relationship that I had with my father with my daughter. I'm just happy that the baby's healthy and I'm gonna be super happy with a girl," he says during a confessional.

Stand-up citizen Chris Brown got in protest of the national anthem on Sunday, September 11. The entertainer refused to stand while "The Star-Spangled Banner" played at a charity basketball game in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old singer decision is on the heels of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's protest of racial injustice during a recent football game.

R&B singer Tank sang the anthem at the 5th Annual Power 106 Celebrity Basketball Game, but prior to his song, the crooner urged the crowd to stand in respect for the men and women who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks 15 years ago. But Brown wasn't having it -- the singer remained seated and actually laughed when his friends stood up to honor the fallen.

Rihanna and Drake were shackin' up and they weren't doing it in a shack!

The Queen and King of Hip Hop were holed up in a $5K/night love nest overlooking Malibu's Zuma beach for the past week and these two hardly left the building! It's not surprising, given the luxe locale ... who'd want to leave?

RiRi had her niece Majesty along for the fun and even carried the little tyke to the car on Sunday as they packed up and left. Drake was, no doubt, recovering from his back-to-back LA concert dates, where Rihanna jumped on stage and made an appearance as well.

Kylie Jenner isn't afraid to mix it up ... the young it-girl donned a do-rag Saturday during an outing with boyfriend Tyga in NYC. I mean, talk about mis-appropriating African-American culture -- but who cares, says Kylie! It's just a damn scarf! Frankly, we think she should be more worried about people hating on her denim-on-denim look. The sequins are a BIT too much!

Kris Jenner is our idol, y'all! Who the hell doesn't want to be her?! She just touched down in LA after a super-chic vacay in Italy and the south of France with daughter Kourtney and the kids, and with her boy toy Corey Gamble. She had a quick stop in New York for Fashion Week and the for the launch of Yeezy Season 4 and she came back with loads of shopping bags, a crazy beautiful new crocodile Hermes bag and a big smile on her face.
