Kelly Ripa is finally ready to open up about what really went down with Michael Strahan's early departure from Live! With Kelly and Michael, and she seems to be doing her best to take the high road despite the very volatile situation.

"There's a part of me that can say, 'Okay, I understand. This may have been an oversight.' And again, after 26 years, at this point we are like a family. And sometimes when you are so comfortable with somebody, you may not give them the same consideration as somebody you're not as comfortable with – a certain formality falls away," she confessed to the mag about learning of her co-host's new gig at the same time as the media.

"I think that all people are deserving of fair treatment in the work place. People deserve respect. People should be treated equally and with dignity. I think that requires a certain amount of empathy on a level. When you're dealing with big business, it's easy to forget that you're dealing with people and that people have feelings. It's easy to just look at it like a business unit, a unit, a unit," she added.

The bubbly TV personality also wants people to know why she took the day off after Strahan's move to GMA was announced.

"I think what people need to understand about the entire situation is that I didn't just not show up. I said, in the room, 'I am going to take the day off.' I needed to actually sit and gather information. I needed to make sure I said the appropriate things on TV and didn't just come out and say whatever," she explained.

Despite it all, she has nothing but kind words for her former work husband. "I get it. We're excited for Michael. He wanted that job, and it's great for him. I think it is a perfect match, I really do. However, what nobody considered is there's a whole other group of people that it really impacts, because we have to now find another great person," she divulged.

Now this, people, is how you handle something with class!

The always angry 24-year-old aimed her ire at Zayn Malik yesterday after she perceived that parts of his new video "Like I Would" were copied from her work.

Banks Instagramed some stills from both of their videos and wrote a nasty caption, "Damn Zayn be mood boarding the f--k out of me. I'm not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie."

At first Malik didn't say anything, but he eventually responded, "@AZEALIABANKS why you been saying nasty things about me? I wasn't talking about you lol."

Of course, the volatile Banks quickly launched into a hate-filled attack on the former One Direction singer.

She wrote, "U.S.A IS ABOUT TO TEACH YOU WHO NOT TO F--K WITH!! When your entire extended family has been obliterated by good ol the U.S of A will you still be trying to act like a white boy pretending to be black? Do you understand that you are a sand n----- who emulates white boys' renditions of black male hood? Do you know how lost and culture less you are?"

The "Pillowtalk" singer took the high road and tweeted that he "didn't care." Good for him!

Kendall Jenner and her momager Kris arrived in Cannes via helicopter yesterday, and we're slightly shocked that the rest of the Kardashian ladies didn't tag along just for fun. This isn't the supermodel's first time at the film festival, though, as she walked the red carpet last year at the premiere of Youth.

We have to wonder if Kenny is hoping to bump into Harry Styles while overseas! The catwalker is allegedly still obsessed with her ex, even though she's currently dating LA Laker Jordan Clarkson. "[Kendall Jenner] is only dating Jordan to make her ex boyfriend Harry Styles jealous! It’s just a ploy to get Harry chasing her again!" a source dished to OK! magazine.

The expecting star donned a fiery red ensemble when she arrived at the photocall for Woody Allen's new movie, Cafe Society at the opening day of the 69th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. We can just make out the first hints of a baby bump!

The 28-year-old looked ravishing in the red jumpsuit by Juan Carlos Obando, as she stood alongside director Woody Allen and co-star Kristen Stewart at the film's event. Kristen looked striking in her white Chanel ensemble, that matched her newly blonde locks.

The movie, follows a young man (played by Jesse Eisenberg), who arrives in Hollywood during the 1930s hoping to work in the film industry, but falls in love with a woman as well as the vibrant cafe society that defined the time. In the film, Blake plays the character of Veronica, while Kristen plays Vonnie. The film is set to be released on July 15.
