David Archuleta performed like a real American Idol even before the results were shown. That's why I was simply disappointed when the results came. For me, David Archuleta is still the winner. I liked David Cook's rockin' style better than the slow, overdone ballads done by Archuleta, so I'm glad Cook won. He reminds me of a young Jon Bon Jovi for some reason. Plus, Archuleta's stage dad was a turnoff, whereas who couldn't empathize with Cook trying to live his dream while his brother was dying from cancer.

I loved them both, but I am absolutly in love with DAVID COOK!!! I love the type of music he sings and he just has the presence and sparkle in his eye. Yes, they really do sparkle. Cook, sang songs that others would not attempt. I found Archuleta more safe. His song choices were ones that I performed in choir and although he performed then exeptionally well, i found myself getting goosebumps from Cook since I never knew what to expect from him. His songs were faster and more upbeat. Kudos to both of them for all that they have achieved. They both are stars!!!!

The wrong David won in my opinion. David A. has an amazing singing voice....gave me goosebumps and I'm neither a teenager or an old lady. David Cook is dull and not nearly as creative as everyone thought he was. His version of songs were not his own doing, all had been lesser known arrangements by other people (i.e. Billy Jean was done that way by Chris Cornell). And to compare him to Chris Daughtry is ridiculous. Daughtry has a much better voice. People were not voting for David A. because they were turned off the stories of his dad, which is not his fault. He's a sweet, uber-talented kid who was a very gracious loser. He'll still go far even though he lost the final, everyone knows who he is now.
