As a very proud Britney fan, i think this is nothing to be congratulated for. This was a horrible year for her. I hope that if given this next year, it will be on a more positive note. Britney was scheduled to shoot the video between 12-2 because she had the kids. I don't know who was going to watch them. Then she called and they scheduled the shoot for 6 p.m. They were not happy but what could they do? When she didn't show by about 6:45, they called her and told her they were using the set for someone else. The kids were gone by then. She arrived there after 9 p.m.*

The crew all got there at 8 a.m. because she was due at noon. She called at the last minute to push the shoot back. The fact is, she probably wasn't going to show until she thought someone might upstage her.

I wish she would just come out and admit she has issues and she wants to deal with them and become a better person and mother. Instead she said to Ryan Seacrest who asked her if she thought she was doing everything for her kids, "Oh God, yeah!"

It just seems she still doesn't have the reality thing down.

The judge in the Britney Spears/K-Fed divorce case has released 300 pages of documents. One document says, "Based on its investigation to date, it should be noted that DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) has concerns of its own regarding the safety and welfare of the children if the children are left in the mother's care."

In a declaration filed by Brit, Spears asked the judge to keep the custody and visitation schedules private, arguing that she needs confidentiality "in order to minimize the chance that unscrupulous journalists will gain unwelcome access to me and the boys." Britney Spears was spotted with a cute new guy at one of her homes away from home yesterday -- a 76 station.

Britney stopped at the gas station twice last night, once solo, and again with her new companion, whose name is Robert, according to Brit. Notice the guy taking photos -- without a camera!?!

TMZ caught Lufti after the 76 photo-op, who laughed when asked if Spears and Robert were dating. New man or not, Brit was rocking some major bling on her ring finger.

Britney chose Kevin to be the father of her kids. I believe she still loves him very much, but she is not the first young lady to have picked the wrong guy for her or had kids with him and has had to supply alimony, child support etc.
Many women have gone through the same thing and many of them are still going through it. She's famous so her life is out here for all of us to see.
From where I'm standing I don't see that Britney is suffering from her kids being with their father or from having to pay him whatever she's paying him. It's her money, it's her life, and it's her family. see, kevin ederline was not always held in high regard by me either. i saw him like the rest of the world did, leave a pregnant shar & party it up in vegas to promote his cd while britney was home & pregnant & taking care of his latest child...

i too thought he was a major moocher who never cared for britney & was just using her for fame & fortune. ...but as the saying goes, TIME WILL TELL.

slowly but surely, britney began to show HER TRUE COLORS & i began to re-evaluate kevin's actions.

i'm presently in a long-term relationship but if a HOT movie star/singer on top of the world began to chase & pursue me... well, how exactly would *i* behave in that situation?

what if they proposed marriage to me not once but TWICE?? what if they promised me the world & blinded me with hollywood stardust...

maybe i would have been a schmuck & done the wrong thing too like kevin did. i don't think i actually would have because i am a pit bull when it comes to MORALS & VALUES but the point is i began to SEE how a normal person could be *TEMPTED* & make the wrong decision.

he said he didn't want kids right away with britney but she was VERY VOCAL about wanting to be a young mom & then got pregnant not once but twice!! now i believe it's EQUALLY the man's responsiblity to be as conscientious about birth control as the woman... but ultimately, it was britney's body & she could have prevented that from happening but she didn't because she either wanted it or was irresponsible.

then i heard the reports from insiders about how looney brit was, how controlling she was (she was constantly using her MONEY to DOMINATE kevin... gifting him expensive presents & then cutting up one of his credit cards... booking a great suite for herself & then givng him a shitty room when she was mad at him... booking herself a luxury jet & making him fly coach...

i dunno, maybe he was being a dick at times & she wanted to publically slap him down a nitch or two. the problem with that though is that he was already HER HUSBAND!! the one i assume she promised to love & respect... and you don't publically humiliate the father of your children & the love of your life... those were immature stunts for her to have pulled.

he was partying way too much in vegas when he should have been at home with the new kids but let's consider why...

he didn't want kids right away - maybe he was feeling trapped... he already had lined up the release of his album which was i guess his LIFE-LONG DREAM & he maybe thought he HAD to promote it then or risk being a failure... maybe britney was just a whiny, crazy, boozing, drugging, annoying bitch & he just needed weekends away from her!!

or maybe she was absolutely perfect & he was just an asshole. we will never *KNOW* for sure because *WE* weren't in their marriage.

what i DO know is that she text messaged broke up with him & he didn't go crawling back to her. had he went crawling back, he would have been emasculated... given her the power to do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted... but he could have easily gone back & MOOCHED OFF OF HER JUST BY SAYING SORRY - but he didn't!! he chose instead to GET OUT OF THE HOT MESS OF A MARRIAGE HE MISTAKENLY RUSHED INTO!!

i also KNOW that he gave her SEVERAL CHANCES to SHAPE UP BEFORE RESORTING TO GAIN CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH THE COURTS!!

that for me, was the turning point - made me see him in a different & better light for sure! if he didn't really care about her as a person, as the mother of his children, he just would have taken her down in the press & courts without giving her any chances at redemption.

that showed me he was a good guy.

later, we've all seen him step up for his children, being a mother & father both as 'P' so eloquently put it ealier.

he protects his kids from the crazy paps & won't dance like a crazy monkey the way shitney does!!

sorry, but over time i have changed my position on kevin. he was a jerk because of what he did with shar, & seemed to not care for britney towards the end (in the beginning i think they both thought they were in love with each other) - but he has made choices that show he has tried to do the right thing by her - and most impirtantly & to some all that matters is that HE HAS DONE THE RIGHT THINGS FOR HIS CHILDREN!!!

This kind of success is no small feat and takes years of grueling work and commitment. Now - post Britney Kevin is is a national punch line. He is too recognizable to get work within his chosen field as a dancer and would never be hired for a "normal" job because of his notoriety. The cost of keeping Spear's children safe (security etc.) has to be astronomical. Any father when faced with the kind of erratic behavior Spears' is exhibiting would have to pursue custody of their children. With her behavior in public being as whacky as it is I shudder to think about how she actually behaves in private. It is possible that Kevin is just a gold digger who doesn't care about his children's welfare but the fact that Shar Jackson says otherwise does hold some sway with me. I personally would not want to walk a moment in Kevin's shoes. It seems that success and a great life are Britney's for the taking all she has to do is reach out and grab it. Actually Justin's typically supportive of the other posters on here, especially when it comes to their families and children.
