Yep, pot this is kettle. I'm here too...for about 30 minutes, as part of my job. I write for a major national magazine and this is my "assignment" from the editors. To write 2,000 words on the Britney Spears/X17 relationship.

If I were Britney I would be camping out at the court houses steps making SURE i was not only there and on time but early. I would be more then happy to be early showing up for any drug testing. If I had to go to a parenting class from 7AM until 12AM every single day for a full year, then thats what I would do... And I would show up early at each and every one and be the first person asking questions to the teacher. My notes would be 20 notebooks full.

I would devote 110% to getting my kids back. I could not sleep at night or even eat 1 bite of food knowing that my babies are away from me. I couldn't. I would be in mourning. Wanting my sweet babies back at home with me to cuddle and play with.

I feel the exact same way. I had my son at 23 yrs old. He is almost 6. I have never spent a day away from him, other than an occasional grandma sleep over, and I can count on less than two full hands in 6 yrs how many times that has happened. He is my everything. I would die for him and would die if I didn't have him.
My best friend wanted to buy her CD. I told her not to, not because of all this "I hate Britney or I love Britney" bullshit, but because for every person that buys her CD at this point is only contributing to her state of mind. If I were Britney, I would lay low, attend every class, meeting, drug test, etc. to get my child(ren) back. I hope you don't get divorced or are divorced by your spouse. I hope no one forces you to give up your children to someone you probably hate now at best every other weekend, half the summer, alternate holidays, progressively worse that you only get to see your children for HALF of their days, or at worst that they are taken from you completely. There are many mothers who have lost full custody of their children and to you they would appear to be excellent mothers and probably are. Sometimes a spouse is too adversarial and beats you. Sure it happens and not just in the movies.

What I hope is that Lynne Spears one day gains real self-knowledge and acknowledges to the world how she shaped and molded Britney to be a sex symbol, to use her sexuality to be popular in school, not to mention in show business. 951 First of all.. I do know alot about what you speak of. My husband passed away 11 months ago at a very young age. For years, we fought with the system for custody of my step daughter. Her mother is alot like Britney, except not on drugs or famous. She is just very selfish and not attentive. The court systems are very screwed up. Unfortunately , my husband died the week we were to finally be gaining custody of her, but now? I am just a step mother who wants for my son and I to be able to see her at all.
I am not saying lay low by means of quitting her career. I would never say that to anyone. What I am saying is that if someone has a problem, then they need to fix it. She is not out promoting her career right now. She is out running all over LA acting like a selfish spoiled brat.
I am a good mother, but by no means and I perfect. I can only try to love my child and give him the guidance that he needs to succeed in life. That is a parent's job.

It seems hard to be as degenerate, stupid, and low as some of you call her, yet she's got out an album that is doing very well, no matter if she is one, two, or thirteen in the rankings. None of us have that accomplishment, and it does require some work.

Britney is a human being with human emotions. None of you know what she feels. I'm guessing that she is hiding a lot of pain.

Rather than making one tough, being in the spotlight and judged since early childhood tends to make one extra sensitive.

I'm a mother and probably did a fine job, as they are alive, healthy, very educated and very well employed now as adults. They are very moral, kind adults now who never got into any trouble. I raised them to have some bit of understanding about other people in the world, those who might have different circumstances, and made sure they knew that wealth and fame don't guarantee happiness. I would also have horsewhipped them if any of them talked like some of you do or spewed such hatred and criticism towards a person they don't even know.

I've also experienced a bit of what Britney has gone through, which parts are none of anyone's business, and I have some experience in what makes people act as they do, including myself.

Britney will be just fine. She's very young, has been through hellfire in the last few years, and has to come out on the other side, shedding all the negative influences of her life, including her parents. If she does that, she will be wise and happy and still on top of her career. She's an entertainer.

Yes it would be nice it she did something like that with her money. It would be nice for her kids to have all the things that filthy rich people buy. I hope that one day this girl gets back on the right track so she is able to share those happy moments with her children. Even something simple like reading them bedtime stories. All that money that we can't fathom could go toward help for her to mother her kids and have a personal life too. Hell, I am middle class and I have kids and have a social life. It can be done.
