The conservatorship is running out on February 14th, unless it is extended. Britney's parents have a LOT to do in a short amount of time to remove the leeches from around their daughter. Man, do you have your facts screwed up.

We wonder why she runs to hotels. If you think about it, that's how Britney grew up. All those tours she did through her teens. That's where she stayed - from one hotel to another. It probably feels like home to her.

God only knows what all she was exposed to with all the party people & hangers-on then. You know everyone was tripping over themselves to accommodate her too. She was huge.

We might realize that isn't the way life usually goes - but it was for Britney. Now that those days are pretty much over, all she does is wander aimlessly. She hasn't figured out who Britney Spears really is now that she's older. And until she figures herself out, she's not going to be able to parent small children.

Just remember folks, it took Britney a long time to spiral down to the point she's currently at - just out from being declared gravely disabled and currently under conservatorship because she isn't competent to manage her own affairs. It's going to take a very long time and a lot of hard work to get her back to behaving normally on a 24/7 basis. She also has to want to participate and to get better, which is very difficult to convince someone who is that ill to do, because they don't have the insight to understand that things are as bad as they are.

That being said, down the road when she is stable there are other things she will need to deal with. Medications are only the beginning of the story. Once they find a combination that works well for her, even more hard work will begin.

Britney will have to own and be accountable for her past behavior, with the possible exception of the period during which she was "gravely disabled". People with mental illnesses are not excused for their behavior entirely by that fact. It is indeed a reason, though - and it's one she'll have to reflect on with a therapist over many hours of intensive work if she's going to truly turn all this around. It's a long and hard road back from serious mental illness, and I wish her and her family luck.

You're not worth it, either, 10:59. Kevin started using and abusing Britney from the time he met her. No decent husband has affairs and does drugs with a pregnant wife at home and an infant child. Kevin is a low life. He always was. He hardly ever has actually worked nor felt that he should. He came to Hollywood to become famous, by his own words. He moved in with some guys and let them pay all the expenses while he lolled around all day. He felt no compunction to pay rent even then, as long as some other sucker would pick up his tab. He comes from a very low class, trashy family. I've seen them. Britney's mother was a school teacher before Britney became famous. Her father worked, has always worked, and is working now.

Britney's life surely is material for a book, a movie, a manual on what to avoid when raising an international pop singing superstar, and on what to do right.

Human being are too complex to say this is what to do and what not to do, because each person will respond differently. Toss in a little mental illness or disorder and you've indeed got an omelet.
