You DO NOT need a passport for land travel across the US/Mexico border ~ passport is only needed for air travel.

To re-enter the US you do need a government issued ID PLUS proof of citizenship (B/C) or naturalization certificate.

I think this will be more of a problem for the paparazzo, Ghalib.

You only need as passport if traveling by air back her at this point. So even if she don't have one she will get back just fine.

Second there are laws pertaining to entrance into the US at this time from Mexico which are US citizens have needed a passport to return to the US from Mexico by air since January 23, 2007. For now, you need a combination of a birth certificate *and* driver's license or other state-issued photo id, or a passport only, to visit Mexico by land or sea. If using a birth certificate as identification, you must have the original, with an embossed state seal. If traveling by land, you don't need a passport to visit Mexico by June 1, 2009 at the latest -- though probably sooner, like January, 2008. So if she drives back into the United States she will be fine. She does not need a passport but the laws are in process to be changed.

I Wonder if Britney realizes yet that finalpixx, the paparazzi company that Adnan has been working for has set up a BLOG that shows ONLY pictures of Britney and Adnan while they are "supposed" to have snuck a way from the paparazzi to a private place. It seems that Adnan has been leaking the information to his co-workers at finalpixx, so that they can take photos of him and Britney together. It seems that Adnan has deceptively began a relationship with Britney, so that he can set up situations with himself and Britney that the company he works for can photograph, and sell to magazines, newspapers, and other blogs for money. For ADNAN, the plan all along was to get into a "relationship" with Britney, so that he could use her to get photos that no one else would have access to. The rest of the plan, which finalpixx has already put into place, is to sell those pictures to other outlets such As magazines, newspapers, and other blogs.
NOW finalpixx has gone as far as to set up their own blog, using photos that ADNAN has been setting up for his company to take, of himself with Britney.
Unfortunetly Britney thinks she is actually dating someone who is honest, and cares about her, BUT it is clear from ADNAN's actions that he is in it for the money. It seems that Britney may yet again have her heart broken by a guy who is out to use her. I hope that this revelation, when she finally receives it, does not send her into an even deeper depression that she is already in. Adnan's actions are simply cruel. Yet one more person in this world that Britney cannot trust.

No passport? Hasn't she been all over the world during her career? I would think she has one, unless the so called source just meant that Britney didn't take her passport with her which of course would make more sense than to say she didn't have one.
