The reviews for so called Comeback tour are mostly the same. They said bitch looked like she didn't want to be there, she walked more than danced and she kind of forgot to mouth some words in certain songs. HA. Yes, nobody can lip-synch the jerky out of a song like she can!

Based on the pictures, it kind of looks like the matinee of a burlesque show at a downtown Reno, NV casino where you get a steak lunch with every ticket! is there a parental advisory on this show? Pretty sleazy. I cringe to think of people taking their 13 year old girls to see this mess. Not what I want my daughter doing as a career option. I don't know what websites you are referring to but they must have not been at the show. The fans went wild. Britney was on the mark making the quickest changes of costumes I have ever seen. She always looked put together too like it would have taken most 3 minutes to change she was out fight about 1 minute and would come back in another outfit that was just beautiful. Her body is gorgeous and she has always dazzled with her smile even when she was out there in la la land a couple of sam years ago. Bet he's shitting right now. Britney is back and I am proud of her! But she didn't sing live. Perez, who was there and backstage (as well as in the opening video) said that she recorded tracks to "sound live". I have never been a huge Britney fan (I'm a 38 y/o male, so the demographics are wrong) but like most of the world I have enjoyed the morbid curiousity view with which we've all watched her life play out. I wouldn't have even found this forum if I wasn't looking for concert reviews in anticipation of her stop in my city, for which I was lucky enough to get good seats the day tix went on sale.

Frankly, I have felt sorry for her (and Jamie Lynn) given that you have these two incredibly talented children being pressured and pulled by greedy parents and agents who all seem to have a sleazy backwoods attitude and education, and a "Deliverance" demeanour about them. As far as I can tell Britney was never allowed from the youngest age to just go out and be a kid and make all the same mistakes as a teenager that we all made, except anonymously. She has been under a microscope her entire life and that has to be super tough. I would probably flip my wig too.

Now I can appreciate that she has worked hard to turn things around and is taking on the world again on her own terms. She looks sexy and healthy (both physically and mentally) and I'm looking forward to seeing her in concert (and it looks like a helluva spectacle) as I enjoy it with the REAL fan in my family, my 15-year-old daughter.

At least not from the standpoint of the kickoff concert of her much-anticipated Circus tour – her first trek in five years – at the New Orleans Arena Tuesday night. While she avoided the train wreck that was her 2007 MTV Video Music Awards appearance, a visibly nervous Spears, performing in front of enthusiastic fans near her Kentwood, La., hometown, never really hit her old stride.

Descending from above in a red ringmaster-meets-dominatrix outfit to sing her hit "Circus," she showed that her body was tight, even if her dancing always wasn't. Indeed, throughout the show's four sections, there was a lot more strutting than real choreographic feats from Spears. And there was a decided lack of joy in her performance, which felt labored at times.

It didn't help that she hardly engaged the audience, not addressing them at all until after her lone encore, "Womanizer," performed in sexed-up cop uniforms. Given that Spears probably doesn't do much live singing either, it left a definite chill in the air.

When she wrapped the concert about 90 minutes after emerging, she seemed more relieved than anything that it was all over.

The reviews basically almost all same the same thing - Spears looked good, the show was great, but she can’t move on stage, she didn’t take your breath away, and she looked robotic.
