Some of the videos of these paps are insane. They are like a pack of baying hounds on the scent of a taquito-spotted fox. ( Taquitos are the new Cheetos. ) But no one can watch and say that Britney is getting off on the attention anymore. She may allow herself to be paraded around by Adnan but she no longer enjoys notoriety or fame, that's clear. If Britney doesn't think she is able to care for her children right now, she should just have the courage to say so, and stop dragging this out, and making a fool of herself, and everyone else! It would be more courageous of her to just admit that she does not feel that she is able to take care of her childen right now, and that they ae not her first priority, right now, and that they may be better off with their father.
Britney does not want those children! Britney's bipolar illnesss does not seem to affect her ability to care about, and show affection to a STRANGER, Adnan, but somehow we are to to believe thather bipolar disorder is affecting her affection or love for her children.

ok. brit maybe mental (most likely) and paps are obnoxious. But we all need to see the facts here.

In a news article, I read that the Sheriff's office TRIED to work with brit to provide security for her the day of her court appearance. But she never made an effort to work with them. Sheriff's office pretty much told her "then you're on your own" ESPECIALLY if she won't even reveal what time she's arriving at the court.

If she listened to her lawyers & planned her arrival/departure from the courthouse with the sheriff's dept, none of this would've taken place. Sure, paps would be hovering around, but they would've used the underground parking facility that connects to the elevator. Police would've been able to cordon off where brit's car would pull up to, so that the paps won't be able to get so close to her.

But NO, she CHOSE not to do so. Her decision AND probably pursuasions from Adnan and Sam...who most likely are getting kick backs from those paps that can get a good shot of her out on the public street.

Her being "too scared" to go into the courthouse due to the PAPS is bullshit. If she's paranoid of the paps, why is she ok to confront just as many paps on a daily basis when she makes her round to gas stations, stores, restaurants, starbucks, you name it?

She wasn't scared of the paps...she was scared to testify. She used 'being scared of the paps' again to not show up. Just like the last time when she had to show up in court...what was that excuse?? Too nervous to get out of her house because of the paps. And what did she do that same day?? Remember??? She went out to do her shopping rounds...apparently OVER her fear of paps conveniently.

I have sympathy for people suffering from mental illness, believe me. But I'm still not 100% convinced that brit is mentally ill and has no clue as to what she's doing. I feel a lot has to do with her immaturity and basic personality/character issue of being self-centered and devoid of what-would-be-expected emotion (such as genuine caring for her children, etc). I have no idea how much of that is directly due to some mental illness or substance abuse.

But, either way, we shouldn't keep on sticking our heads in the sand and not seeing the obvious...and continue to get suckered into the "excuses" given by her & her cohorts (Adnan, Sam, etc).

The fact remains...every situation she is creating (being so late to come to court, thereby really exarcerbating the pap frenzy...not cooperating with the police who OFFERED to assist her...not listening to her lawyer's advise...and not even using the underground parking lot, which would've allowed her to make a quick entrance via the elevator, but using the front street to the courthouse where majority of the paps were waiting) she is creating via her WRONG decisions. Of course, Adnan is most likely SUGGESTING her to make those decisions, too, so that he could give his pap friends what they want (and what they paid him for). But it is Britney's own doing, no matter what the circumstance.
